Sounds like the old standby 40D.  There used to be much less frequent versions, but the jump from 40D to our versions was a big one -- caves went from being dots too tiny to find wth captive populations, into entire layers with their own biomes and wanderers.

More importantly, that jump also included, y'know, a full overhaul of creatures and materials, which basically accounts for everything in the game.

You still only get 1 porcelain brick per kaolinite boulder.
