I think you cannot merge until a countdown, but try map borders.

Having tried that, it does not work. You might be able to speed it up by t moving your cells together, but that's half a fix.

I think you cannot merge until a countdown, but try map borders.

It's a cooldown, and the cooldown increases proportional to your total mass. There's also a separate cooldown for each split.
