Just started, using Mush client unless there's a better option.
Made a combat oriented character, Gillen Wolgast.
Now what?

If you use a client the game can be a bit spammy, I recommend using prompt off since it can clutter up your view making text scroll by too quickly

Help toggle : will show you various things you can toggle on and off
Help prompt: can show you more in deptch regarding the prompt stuff

Also for anyone new and wondering what to do, type "info".

Precious Metal Mine Locations

1260, 725 - Silver
1259, 723 - Gold
1252, 716 - Nocturnium

Current Goal: Get spaced out houses built along the mining wall. Every 5 tiles or so for a stonehouse is fine as that'll allow us to deplete the mines.

Working on chopping down the overgrown forest, laying a road and then build the stonehouses, so it'll be easier to travel (esp for me; no need to sleep every few tiles, lol) STRIKE THE EARTH!

I can spam empire skill or combat skill. My natural magic and survival would work well with combat, but I know you want some empire. What would help more?

Honestly, I'd love someone with survival and natural magic since they make solid gatherers but it's your choice.

We definitely need someone with maxed out survival, though.

I jumped in last night with same username as forum name and it's a neat game.  Tonight I'll try to setup some more copper mines, as the crafting requires copper before iron can be used.  Went survival/trade and want to learn the natural magic also.

Are you in the empire? We have a LOT of copper.

Also, our first (basically) artifact item:

I'm actually making us some carts that are being pulled by horses, stores 200 items. Quite easy to transport items now!
To use: 'lead horse' with the cart, retrieve items, then 'put item in cart', walk around, 'take item from cart' to take it out. Hehe.

If you have a horse and a free cart, go to carpenter and 'harness horse cart', needs 1 rope.

Edit: also works with swift beasts/mounts
Thanks to Rabid who has harnessed  a couple of swift serpents to the carts we have some ready to lead! Just grab one when you need to transport stuff.
Got some more ready for us. Also bows are a thing now.

Edit2: some more useful stuff: you can cycle through item stocks with '1.item' '2.item' and so on. if you want to take items from cart or put them in, you cant use 'all' - use something like 50 instead (eg. take 50 item from cart) and itll take as much as you can.

also dont forget to grab a walking stick at the lumber yard (LL), gives you +44 max moves
you can 'look in cart'; also there's empirehistory, tellhistory, sayhistory to see the 20 last chat lines accordingly; also consider enemies before battling!
