When your ingame input

prompt |Health %h/%H|Stamina %v/%V|Mana %m/%M|Blood %b/%B|%c|%a%t>
then
fprompt |Health %h/%H|Stamina %v/%V|Mana %m/%M|Blood %b/%B|%c|Target %e|Friendly %f>

thank me later. If for some reason you want the default back, use prompt default and fprompt default. Help prompt for more info.

non-vampire versions:

fprompt |Health %h/%H|Stamina %v/%V|Mana %m/%M|%c|Target %e|Friendly %f>

prompt |Health %h/%H|Stamina %v/%V|Mana %m/%M|%c|%a%t>

It's been a while since I've touched a MUD, but this looks promising... I'm thinking I'll sign up some time tonight. Any roles that need to be filled more than others? I read something about casters and since my absolute favorite thing in most RPGs is magic, I think I'd enjoy something along those lines.

Also, I haven't seen anything about one, but is there a wiki?

EDIT: Pledged to the Dwarven Empire. Name is Raelgar. Sitting eastern tower of souls, but I have no idea about anything yet. Still experimenting a bit. As I said, it's been a while.

So, what's all this about being able to separate messages into different windows? How do I do it? It sounds super useful. Is it a feature unique to mush, or can I do it on mudlet?

I've started playing, not sure how much I will still but here's how to split EMPIRE chat out with Mudlet (mostly because I had to wade through docs to figure out something this simple x-x):

1. Create a script with the following:
Code: [Select]
openUserWindow("userWindowChat")
2. Create a trigger, and set it to trigger on [EMPIRE and begin line of substring from the dropdown. In the trigger's code window, put:
Code: [Select]
selectCurrentLine()
copy()
appendBuffer("userWindowChat")

You can add more [* stuff as the other trigger lines to easily add other channels, I'm pretty sure. If you want different windows, it should work with extra 'openUserWindow' commands, and different appendBuffer targets. If you open windows you don't want, there's probably a way to delete them but I only found hideWindow(windowname) x-x

Ah, edit: adding a couple of 'deleteLine()' commands to the trigger script will kill the line/the newline in the main window if desired, but you'll still get a new prompt <_<.

Just prospected up a silver mine, we'll build wealth soon enough.

Edit: And another!

Also, silver is needed for respeccing now. We'll need a master potter for the necessary trinket.

There seems to be an empire on the east continent that is harassing smaller empires.  They've threatened war while being the aggressor.

What shooer drunkenly tried to post about was a run in with stormwood we had late last night. We're the nomalimesh khanate though our names a bit in flux. Anyways.

On evening of the 8th when we only had 2 members (and i had just started), stormwood decided to infiltrate our empire and steal items from the forge. We ignored it not knowing how to check the elogs yet and being too new to put up any defense. Later, one of our new recruits seeing as stormwood was set to distrustful decided to test infiltrate on one of their spawn island buildings, walked onto their lumberyard, then was cut down without causing any damage.  This was used as an excuse for them to put 2-3 max lvl stealth people in our city to arras and steal from us for 3 days. We tried to contact them, but were ignored repeatedly.

Late last night we finally managed to find their leader online to ask what was going on, he demanded we pay "reparations for damages" for the effort that they spent stealing from us, i guess. he denied it ever happened despite us having the logs, he did change the subject quickly straight to threats, though. They know we don't have the items theyre asking for(or have already stolen them) but gave us a 24 hour limit before they would destroy our village. Overall, the conversation made it clear to us they arent interested in diplomacy, they just want an active group to attack. have a read. We also have proof of their aggression in the logs:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
And to top it all off, there are two other empires in our direct vicinity they've stolen from.

If you guys are looking for a justified target for a conflict, we found you one. At this point it seems people are starting to get bored, empires like stormwood who cant wait will attack small empires like us without reason or risk. The game world is going to warm up soon, this will not stay a small one on one fight. People will pile in. Thats the usual way it goes in games like this. Regardless, we have enough active players to slow them down and do some counter damage on our own and plan to do so. If it comes to it, we rebuild, we wont be going down easy.

Mobilizing a significant part of the Dwarven Empire is out of the question, but if people want to play vigilante, I can't stop you.

Just keep in mind we are in a non-aggression pact.

How do you continue an existing character? Just put in the same firstname, password, and lastname?

Now, if only I hadn't given my character a dwarven lastname I can't remember.
