i had a message saying "the enemy has come and is laying siege on the fortress", which i think is a human siege, but, all that came were 3 military zombie humans, i raised my tower's drawbridge and got everyone inside (i was doing a tower challenge), but i checked the unit list again and they were gone, no traces, no combat reports, just a message and 3 zombies which disappeared almost immediately. They had no clothes or weapons. i have 3 questions.
1. why did they disappear
2. if it was a human siege, why are they zombie
3. why did they have no clothes at all

1- It isn't known for certain. One reason that has been speculated why sieges sometimes disappear immediately is the idea that they were actually on their way somewhere else and just happened to cross one of your fortresses world tiles on the way to there.

2- It wasn't a human siege. It was a siege from a necromancer tower.

3 - Undead in sieges frequently don't bring any armor/clothing/equipment with them.
