Upon awakening, the dream bubble bursts. Thousands of people across the nation are forced to wake up and face reality as their dreams are foreclosed. Sleepy people across the globe reconsider their investment and sales of coffee and energy drinks skyrocket. This could be the greatest creative catastrophe the world sees this century.

 In other news; Tired college students cant afford dreams due to extensive sleep debts. What happened to the American dream?

Actually, we should study them and use them. If they drain mana out of things... what if we found a way to use them like extension cords? Like, plug them into other ley lines and have them feed back to us? I think that's an idea worth experimenting with.

Experimenting (what? include mana used) experiment trying to use the vines as Mana transport. Examine how the mana flows through the vines after they absorb it and find a way to use this to our advantage. Specifically, shielding ourselves from their feeding on us, and finding a way to feed on them. Then, all we have to do is get them connected to other ley lines, they absorb from there, we absorb from them. -3 mana

Rather than forming the substance itself, you would like to see what happens when mana mimics lightning's movements, striking a object with blinding speed -2 mana

Next time we can kill the vines. subjugate them to our will.
