Weekends are usually filled with me doing nothing useful at all and being catatonic (that thought-out Saturday post was an aberration since I usually can only blow raspberries at my screen), so that it's Monday, I'll see to making a post to get us past the annoying servant.

I had half-hoped our "mistress" would step up and act high-and-mighty and get our ass moving, but since I'm around now I'll see what I can do.

I'll try something. That's what Fate points are for, eh?

@Twin: Fate Points are actually used to grant a +10 to a Test, or re-roll a Test. By wording things like that, I think you might be using Intimidate, which you don't have as a known skill. You'd probably be better off trying Charm or just saying as little as possible for RP's sake. Sometimes, a simple order is much more intimidating than a fair amount of screaming.

@Cheesecake: you're using an older version of Tesera's sheet. Instead of her purchase history reading:
Code: [Select]
Interrogation (400xp)
Charm (200xp)
Parry (400xp)
It should instead be:
Code: [Select]
Clues from the Crowd (200xp)
Interrogation (100xp)
Charm (200xp, trained)
Parry (200xp)
Weapon Training (Flame, 300xp)

I'll re-word that. And I'm aware of the bonus, that's why I was using it. Want to increase chance of success.

You should probably use "let me in" and "my business" to keep in line with highborn snobbery.

So, you want to use a Fate Point to add +10 to your Charm test, right? Your wording is still a bit too intimidating though. Need to make sure.

I'll edit the sheets when I get home, thanks for catching that.

I hope that's enough to convince the fellow. By now I'd be considering simply flying over the gate weren't the fact the manse is in disrepair but the security systems may have something set up against that kind of maneuver.

@Aseaheru: wasn't Gar staying behind on the land speeder with Elodie?

Maybe Gar is afraid of getting alone with Elodie. Her deadly princessery will kill him.

On a more serious note, if Gar does stay back please don't mess with the speeder. I don't think I want Marn the Second.

It was one point. I had a 74 to succeed, and rolled a 75.
Besides, the only things that have happened with that so far is that we got into combat. that roll hasent affecting shit yet.

Also, nothing said that anyone was left behind, so I assumed that everyone was whisked in. Ill go edit my post.

Oh no, I didn't mean the failure with the roll for fixing the Chimera. I meant how Marn seems to be a trouble magnet and all. Didn't think you'd take it so seriously.

I was semi-joking about that whole thing. And I do see your point.
