For 200xp, you're purchasing Rank 2 (+10) Charm, not the normal version. The Hierophant is also a good role for a face; it's what I'm using with my other character, and you can spend a FP to automatically succeed at a Charm, Intimidate or Command Test. You should probably fix the Aptitude back to Weapon Skill.

If you go with melee focus, the autopistol isn't too needed since you already have the stub revolver to take potshots when necessary; that acquisition might be better spent on a piece of useful gear (photo-contacts to see in the dark) or a Flamer as your main ranged weapon since it doesn't roll BS - it just forces everyone else to roll to get out of the way.

@Sirus: you can just leave Influence at 20 and get those 5 points somewhere else. Feral Worlders are more on the killy side than on the influential one anyway and someone else can handle requisitions for her.

I'd make a character, but I think I'd rather not, since I have no ideas how the rules are different, and my attempt at "read what people are talking about and try to figure it out" is only further confusing me, I'll just watch.

The rules are basically the same as Only War's and still very similar to DH, just with the excessive number of skills folded into less stuff (Climb and Swim are now Athletics, Concealment and Silent Move are now Stealth, for example).

If you have a character concept but you think it'd be hard to create your character, I could work on all the mechanics' part and let you just define their background/story.

Well, people are saying they need a ranged character, so I guess something along those lines. If I could be a psyker that is actually good with weapons (DH 1 had a power called "Unnatural Accuracy" or something along those lines that would be nice) then I'd play one of those.

...what 5 points? That 25 is the base stat for point-buy, I didn't put any points in there.

Everyone is assumed to be literate to a degree, and taking the Linguistics (Low Gothic) skill is only a way to show you have advanced knowledge of the language.

Oh? Good to know. Guess I can put that xp to something more useful. I'm already planning to get Leap Up at some point, but is there anything you'd recommend instead?
