If he is still on the ship, may I or may I not make that check to see if I acquired those augments?

In other news, the land speeder we have is the elongated variant, the Storm, yes? Does it count as a surface vehicle or an aircraft, for purposes of piloting?

Really the nobility would sit in the back, where they are more protected from any assassins and the like.

Yep. Surrounded by guards and their staff. The second person in front would probably be a copilot of a sort, and possibly someone with a rifle who knows how to fly what (I am guessing) counts as a surface vehicle, since otherwise Tarkal probably would have crashed by now.

(Which I find sorta weird, since from what I can tell from the wiki post linked they are a form of skimmer, and references keep making made of them being used as what are basically helicopters.)

They can apparently fly up to the arbitrary height of around a hundred metres.

Ah, just to clarify, the craft is enclosed, right? Doors, windshield, all that? Also, how exactly is the seating arrangement? Because currently in my head it looks sort of like

   \=/where there is an open space in the middle of the passenger compartment, and the pilot/copilot get up front by climbing through a gap between the two seats there, and the doors being behind them, the rear seats being a bench-like affair at the rear, with a gap between the sides of them and the doors, and the forward seats being arrayed at a 90 degree angle, so that those who sit there are facing eachother.
 Infact, the way I am sorta picturing it right now it would be (probally) possible to seat three people in the rear seat, provided they scrunch up close...

Ill probally do a drawing of what I mean, doing it in text-characters is sorta wierd...

It's open-topped, so enemies can hit you if they specify where they're aiming. The land speeder compensates with speed and maneuverability, though.

Yes, it looks like a Storm since it's elongated. And the stats said pilot, co-pilot and five more people. I assume there are two seats individual seats with room between them then three seats at the vehicle's rear. Open-Topped, so enemies need to use Called Shots to hit us directly if they want to.

The one with my autogun, spare ammo, tools, servoskull, crappy set of robes, etc. Since I dont have a bag, how else would I carry around all that stuff and not be shockingly overt?

No, high-tier person and retainers - Tesera is a dudette. Looking mid or low-tier while strolling around the upper spires would actually call more attention than what we just did. And imagine trying to gain access to a noble's manse looking like we did before without announcing ourselves as Acolytes.

I use dude in such a way as to typically mean human, sorry for the confusion on that front. As for strolling around high-tier areas while living in mid-tiers, surely high tier peoples hire specialists from mid tiers now and then..?
I understand the clothing and other things we got, I was just under the impression that we asked for mid-tier lodging and got high tier for some reason.
