Tomb Raiders: The Forum Game (Need Puzzle-Solvers!)

So I recently discovered torchbearer, didn't buy it mind you, but loved the ideas. Resource management! Light! Status effects! Abstraction!

Played a homebrew oneshot with my usual group using said ideas. It was a hit. It was more than a hit. It was intense.

And then I thought, well, if you strip this down to its bare bones you can play it as a forum game. And so, here we are.

The name of the game is Tomb Raiders. The premise of the game is Tomb Raiding. You are all tomb raiders. You may form parties, or not. You may compete with each other in the same tomb/dungeon/cave or not. You may die, lose limbs, go insane, resort to cannibalism and beg for your mother...sometimes in that order. If you're interested, just generate a character, and indicate which party to join (if any).

Now some basic (meta) ground rules:

1. You may leave or join the game as you see fit; if you quit in the middle of tomb raiding (i.e not in town) you are considered dead and must generate a new character.   
2. If you join the game you have to wait until a party comes back to town to join them, or you can go at it alone (not recommended). Until then, you are considered to be waiting in town.
3. A Tomb Raider (henceforth called "Raider") is considered "retired" when he/she has accumulated 35 resource points in his bank. This is equivalent to winning the game. You get bragging rights and little else. After this point you may gen a new character
4. Info for different parties will be spoiler-ed, please don't read the info of other parties. Please don't help other parties while your character has no contact with them. (Don't do things that break the wall, like giving someone the answer to a riddle when you have no way of contacting that person)

You don't need to read all the rules (they are very simple though). Just pick one of the pre-genned characters and read the rules of play section.

FoU has some twisted role ideas. Screw second-guessing this mechanical garbage spaghetti, I'm basing everything on reads and visible daytime behaviour.

You can try one of the pregenned characters. Its actually not that complicated. Most things are resolved by description rather than actual checks. And the checks themselves are nothing more than adding a stat to a skill and comparing with a number. The emphasis of the game is on puzzle solving more than combat so you don't have to worry about combat too much.

Posted a character sheet. Wimpy scholar person. Should be interesting; may die quickly but may come to fruition. I can promise that I will expend great effort solving any puzzles my group encounters.

2 Rations = 2 RP
Flask of oil = 1RP
Torch = 1RP
Waterskin = 1RP
------------------------
5RP spent out of 10

Also, you may choose 1 ritual and 1 prayer (since you have Arcanist, Theologian and Ritualist) please look at the sample characters for the list of starting rituals/spells/prayers. If you buy a spellbook for 2RP, you can also write down a spell. Finally, note that a fitness score of -1 means you can never wear armor and that a single hit will result in both the Injury and Afraid status (-2 Fitness results in immediate death).

Other than that, you're ready to raid! Do you want to go at it alone (certain death), or wait for a party (less certain death)?

You should update the sample character inventories then, cause I straight up copied the shaman inventory.

Whoops! Good point (the copy+paste machine is not without error...) should be fixed now.

And yes, feel free to do things around town. Just keep in mind that some things cost resources (look at the Town section).

Also, I noticed that your spell book is on your torso. You don't have enough slots (Rations take up 2, Flask takes up 1, Book takes up 1). Please move the spell book to your hand.

I'm a bit curious as to weapon cost, actually.

So far, thinking

Stats: F +1, A 0, C +2, R 0

Skills: Arcanist 3, Ritualist / Fighter 2, Athlete / Cook 1

Generic iron weapons cost 2 resource points, except for bows which cost 1 (and a quiver of arrows costs 1). Generic iron armor costs 2 RP as well.

EDIT: I'll go ahead and update the equipment section with some values
