This book is about Mere, the Star Goddess. It is written in a lyrical style, using blank verse, with the last stanza of every passage in rhyming couplets. It describes the creation mythos of the Tayuhere people, in which Tetwere, The Silent One challenged Mere to a contest of skill, involving the heroes Iberun and Atefen. Iberun was the Morning and Atefen the Night. Their duel lasted many eons but eventually they fell in love and shared the heavens equally. As punishment for their betrayal Mere separated them forever upon the Earth, so that they could never see each other again.

But Tetwere had mercy upon them and allowed a fleeting moment between them twice a day: Twilight and Dawn. He warned them to be silent, lest Mere ever find out. And so it has been, forever.

There are other such tales. ((But the GM is exhausted from pulling things from his ass))

"All right, we'll come back to the library later and you can grab as much as you want then. I'll even let you put stuff in my backpack. But right now, we're moving on." Logan picked Arvin up and slung him over his shoulders in a fireman's carry. "Kala, Astra, we're moving."

Drag the party to another room. We were going counter-clockwise, so now we would be going to the room at six o'clock I believe.

"Wait...I need to know how much tarasco spice you put in a bloody Kala..." Arvin said, being dragged off.

Action: Be dragged

"Make up an amount," Logan said. No sympathy AT ALL.

The room you enter is strange. The walls are padded. Although to the chamber is open, there is a heavy door made of iron, with a vault-like lock (with those spinning wheels). On the floor (which is also padded) lies a straight-jacket. This room gives you the willies.

Arvin dusted himself off from his merciless manhandling.

"...A bit different than the previous rooms, to be sure. A place to keep prisoners without them harming themselves."

Action: Poke the straight jacket with my staff-anything on or under it? Any clues here to the previous inhabitant?

The jacket's clasps have been broken, perhaps by brute force. Nothing under or over it however.

"Nothing here but an uncomfortable feeling we should move on.

Can't help but wonder, if the Queen keeps any of her 'guests' here."
Arvin says with a shudder.

Logan is standing in front of the door to hold it open until everyone else decides to leave. :X

"Well, time to move forward.

Shall we brave the labyrinth, the pet's tomb, or backtrack and find out what's down the other path?"
Arvin says.

"I think we could brave the tomb...as long as Astra leads the way."
