Action: Huh, what's the chandelier made out of exactly? Stand on Logan's shoulders and look closer if needed. Maybe they're DIAMONDS!

(( What indeed? MUHAHAHAhaha *cough cough ahem* ))

((Meh. :P We weren't getting any context, clues, or progress on the wall thing. Typing 'nothing happens' over and over again, is great if you want us to quit trying.))

Standing on Logan's shoulders gives you just enough height to touch the end of the chandelier with your fingertips. You bring the torch closer and look at the chandelier carefully. Its made of glass! Not quite as valuable as diamonds, but given its state and age (and probably history), not too far from it

(( Well, if nothing happens, nothing happens. The puzzles are always designed so that it's easy to move forward one way or another, but that the best way is difficult to find. I can't really have anything happen until you do the correct things (i.e solve the puzzle), unless you want me to start having random effects that only serve to throw you off :P ))

Action: Can I start collecting the chandelier glass carefully, then?

Not unless you start smashing it to pieces lol. It's one piece of continuous glass.

Candles, which have long since burnt away.

Action: Might as well go and explore the next area

The hallway is on the opposite wall of the chamber. It is quite narrow and it opens into a circular intersection with various paths leading of out it. The paths seem to extend for some distance, so that you cannot immediately tell what lies beyond. According to the map, most of these paths lead to other parts of the tomb, disconnected from the treasure vault. One of them leads to the burial chamber of Zdeska herself. 2 lead to the treasure chamber (as mentioned before).

Kala peeks into the other rooms without going through the doorways.

From the circular intersection with the others - what can I see from outside the rooms?

(( It's not recommended to wander alone without a map (even a in straight path) as you can get lost. Also:

so you'd have to commit to path to see what lies ahead.

(( :I How, praytell, do you manage the feat of getting lost in a straight tunnel? But fine, belay that action then. ))

Kala plopped down.
"Alright, we have a few choices ahead of us. We could see what lies in the other rooms before we try to get to the hoard, though I couldn't say what we'd find. Maybe nothing. If it all comes to naught, we could at least loot the chandelier, perhaps, and not go home empty handed."

(( You're assuming this is a normal architectural construct instead of the reality warping entity that it actually is. Without a map, you might suddenly find yourself in the middle of a maze, at edge of a cliff or even just walking in an infinite loop. Whether or not the path is straight becomes irrelevant when powerful magic gets involved. The map is essential to keeping the reality from falling apart. Don't leave home without it. ))

((Yeah...

'It was created by a duel between Abolar, the God of Fishermen, and Seneope, the First User [of Magic] (they were annihilated by the ensuing reality whiplash'

Which means the GM has a lot more fun because he doesn't have to obey physics. :P

Also, I'm pretty sure the chandelier is impossible to fit back through the door. Also, I doubt we could carry it all the way back home without breaking it.))

"We could backtrack and take the left path at the gear room, as well. There will be more rooms, and different paths. Either way, if we keep moving forward we're bound to find what we're looking for.

Let's start by searching all these adjoining rooms, yes?"
