Turn 6: Center of Attention...well fuck. Turn being edited in. Alerama, I'd appreciate it if you'd either "fix" Ark, give Flow a orbit around a star or suckerpunch this cat-thing. Two Crits in a row, you crazy Pencil-Art.
*****
With the appearance of the unknown being, Planner suddenly stops his inspection of Flow, transforming into a motionless knot of racing thoughts. Trains of thought derailed, nonsensical rings reaching the same dead ends over and over again, until something snaps.
Planner screeches with frustration. No! No! A complete blindside! Totally unpredicted appearance of catlike being! Unacceptable! Unacceptable! His previous unmoving stasis seems a illusion as he writhes with fury, a large dose confusion and a quickly forged determination.
Slowly he begins stalking closer to this... cat thing, flesh and carapace growing transparent, mind filled with the need to control it. Slowly his thoughts took shape, old plans changed to deal with the new variable, planned creations altered to tackle a new problem. The void around him bubbling, as new creatures, new weapons were made to enforce his will.
Create the Voidspawn, in the black void, winged spider pack hunters. Apex predators, they are designed to hunt down and capture the cat-thing in their webs of void-silk, threads humming with power that would think to catch a god. Entrap her, weaken her with virulent poisons and if necessary destroy her. Whether chasing her down in great leaping-flying-gallops, jumping from ambush or setting vast webbed traps. Their great powers, when used together, may be just enough to capture her. Or perhaps not. Her full capabilities are unknown, this is as much a test as anything. Perhaps it would not be wise to take such a antagonistic stance but the Planner is unsettled, not thinking quite clearly. The Voidspawn are opportunistic enough to supplement their diet with the occasional Glorious, Whisperwing or other spaceborne creature if one happens to be nearby. -2 Size +2 Power.
((In character note that I couldn't work out how to fit in, the Voidspawn are an existing plan that Planner has modified. Originally they were to be sedentary predators building massive webs over the Dark Star but the appearance of the cat-thing has forced him to change them to a more active role. He couldn't come up with something else in the heat of the moment and was forced to adapt an existing plan as best he could, which isn't very well since he doesn't deal well with unexpected surprises. Otherwise I'd have made them dragonflies or something. Maybe have dropped the antagonism a notch and just made invisible watchers, who wait for a moment of weakness to consume her, or feed off her life energy gradually to become stronger, strong enough to eventually control her. Ooh, modified sorcquitoes would have had potential in that role))
[2, Malus] The Voidspawn turn out absolutely ravenous... far too ravenous. They immediately begin hunting for deities or other sources of divine power, and aren't above turning on each other in a pinch.
Voidspawn created"Funny! Alerama liked the changes she brought to the Ark. She enjoyed how whole regions on the Ark started to change from green to white. "How will the other toy change if I'll bring it here?"
Move Flow to Ark forming a binary planet. Place Flow closer to Dark Star than Ark is now. While rotating around the shared centre of mass both planets should slightly change their distance to the Dark Star.
I hope I'll get no nat 1 to smash both planets together
[7, Poor] You move Flow to Ark, forming a binary system, but fail to move the duo closer or include any difference in how far they wander. Flow, oddly, gets colder, especially at the mountain tops and at night.
Flow moved to ArkObserve the Interaction between godborn and Cathedral Cores. Check if there's enough space between the mushroom and the plant shell of the Cathedral Cores to build villages in between.
Contact the new entity. Show her visions of night becoming day, torches being lit in the darkness and swords shattering when coming in contact with shields seemingly made out of light.
"Opposite. Worrying."
[18, Bonus] You overwhelm the shadow-thing with brilliant visions of the glories of light and determination. It shrieks and dart into the Kuron.
Cat-thing made to know fear+1 XPThere is very rarely enough room within a cathedral core for a full village. Depending on the core and the village, it's not impossible, but making a habit out of it might require some definite adjustments.
Ol'kuur sees the Natarki, their sensitivity, their psionicity. They were good. The scarabs wouldn't disrupt the Caves. That was good. The childlike abomination seemed careless, liable to destroy. That was worrying. As Ol'kuur ponders this in his ten heads, something strange happens. A creature, or entity, emerges from the Kuron, an entity different from the gods and their children, and one not created by them. Ol'kuur decides to communicate and investigate from some distance. "Emergent of the Kuron. You are noncreation yet exist. What is your nature?"
Suspiciously attempt communication with the catgirl deity-thing, maintaining distance.
If nothing too untowards happens to Ol'kuur, he retreats to the Kuron and creates the Whisperwings, creatures capable of surviving the void between worlds. They are colorful wisps forming a pair of wings, mostly deriving sustenance from the light of the suns, but can also absorb inanimate matter. Properly domesticated, they can carry a single creature safely through the void to other worlds. They are, however, rare creatures [-1 size].
"All things must pass," its whispers echo up at you from the Kuron. It sounds afraid.
[8, Poor] Your Whisperwings come out a little more transparent and less colorful than you might have liked, but they can still carry a passenger.
Whisperwings createdBetter. One more little addition to the ecosystem perhaps and then we'll move on.
Create the Malakim, gargantuan mechanical demigods capable of using magic. Varying in form, their forms can vary from humanoid to resembling an arthropod. Every Malak is charged with protecting a large region of Flow, ensuring the ecosystem remains stable. Djinn and any other sapients are tolerated by the Malakim unless they cause too much damage to the region. Malakim roam their assigned regions and will rarely if ever leave them. Malakim cannot reproduce. Each are powered by a combination of magic and sunlight. [Tiny] [Rare]
Also check up on how the Djinn populations and Elders are faring.
[13, Good] Your mechanical guardians come out a little noisier and brighter than intended, but that adds to their imposing visages.
The Djinn are not handling the cold well, but otherwise persist reasonably comfortably. They are plagued by sorcerous mosquitoes, but usually not unduly, and their brutal blood feuds and elders feeding... well, that could be going better. The elders aren't handling the cold well either, but make do.
Neither population is fond of Herd Lobster Floods, for obvious reasons, and have varying levels of success in repulsing or destroying them. Djinn tend to have the most success by banding together and defending their villages like fortresses, while Elders usually attempt to burrow into the sand to escape the wretched things- the lobsters are willing to dig after them, but lack the attention spans to be truly persistent at it.

Check the technological level of the Verna. +2 to Power and Size
Discreetly spy on the new god of darkness and distruction. Try to dicern any mind patterns or something that can make it more predictable.
((I don't understand what the +2 Power/Size is supposed to mean.))
[19, Bonus] You peer into the depths of the Kuron, and catch glimpses of the cat-thing flitting about.
The primary thing you notice about it is its attention to certain subjects- notably, living, moving things. It seems very interested in specific individuals as well, rather than simply things it hasn't seen before. You're not entirely certain of its mental state, but it seems likely that it'll be interested in poking around at individual animals or sapients in the future.
The Verna, as before, don't have much of a technological level to speak of. They are skilled at working metal into themselves and melding with each other, and can otherwise farm, fish, crudely build, and essentially run a primitive civilization at its most basic level. They are otherwise barbaric and ignorant, most of their works being inefficient, piecemeal affairs by beings that simply don't understand how to do any better. Only their knowledge of anatomy is noteworthy, but that has yet to manifest as any kind of proper technological advance.
Cat-thing investigated+1 XP!
[6, Poor] The cat thing seeks out a particular Death Scarab and begins conversing with it. Before long, it's attached itself to her arm like a shield, and is granting her some limited powers of the dead. As far as you can overhear, she's named it Soulflare.
