It seems to have gone all purple and segmented. Must be from a lazy artist or something. In any case, it looks like you'll need to whack a whole lot more things before it has any chance of leveling up.

And also I wonder, does hitting the rival with our karp until he's knocked unconscious counts as a victory? I propose we find out when he inevitably challenge us.
