((Come back when the monk learns resurrection))

((monk can't learn resurrection to my knowledge))

I like shiny things? Aelynna gazes at the blue orb.
((And I guess its 3.5, but I believe theres a monk PrC that gives you something with Phoenix in its name, that lets you use True ressurection 1/day))

((to my knowledge That doesn't exsist in 5e. hell I couldn't find 1 item specifically made for monks.))

"Sorry, I'm a bit stupid. What are these orbs supposed to be?"

Aurel say "Those are for spell caster my friend, not for men like you."

"What would you reckon would be for men of my line of work then?"

Aurel just says "Servant!"
"already got them sir" says the man servant in a dry voice.

He snaps his figure and 4 female servant come from around the house. He hand each an item.

He give 1 this lovely cloak. Nothing very specially but It is a nice blue.

He give 1 a javelin, The blades (one on each side) are fashion like lightning bolts, and the shaft have lighting bolts painted on it.

He give 1 a ring, It seems to have a water designed on it

And the last girl gets a pair of boots. They seem to have a wings designed sewed into the sides.

The man servant speaks to the monk "I am aware of your intelligence, or lack there of. So I will explain what I know of each item." Aurel chuckles.
the man servant continues "The cloak is said to add protection. The Javelin, as you can see, is of lighting. you can throw this and people say it will hit like a blot of lightning. The ring, I don't know. All I can say, is when I dropped it into water, it sat on the surface. And the boots. I tried them on once and I felt light as air. I hope that is enough to help your decision"

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

The monk looks at his own rough boots, having not changed them in a while and decides that it's time to get fashionable for the ladies.

"Let's check out these boots."

Put on the boots and play around with them, seeing what I can do now.

Jack jokingly says "Better not give her something too good or else we might be missing alot more then expected"

Aurel says "I think I know just the thing"

The man servant nods his head. he reaches in to his coat, ((imagen some one in a mobster movie reaching in to his coat for a gun)) and pulls out a lovely green cloak, with a hood. It has a lovely evlish designs on it.

The monk looks at his own rough boots, having not changed them in a while and decides that it's time to get fashionable for the ladies.

"Let's check out these boots."

((Okay so it seem I need to repeat my self and explain stuff again.
Arcane Check: This is not a TELL ALL. Using this roll is checking your knowledge of lore and stuff. So if you have never ever heard of something like the orbs. even Hatred with a crit would not be able to figure out what the orbs are. He has never heard of them EVER. Even if you do learn what the thing is, that does not mean you know what it does. Remember this is you checking your knowledge. If you roll high enough you might be able to remember something about the lore.

Identifying: You can spend a short rest focusing on a magical Item. This will tell you: What the item is, What it does, and how to use it.

Attunment: You can spend a short rest focusing on a magical item. by Attuning to an item, you learn: what it is, what it does, how to use it. AND you CAN use it.

Some items don't have to be attuned like potion and scroll. Pretty much any 1 time use item. Like the dagger of Venom, no attuning required to use it.

Here is the catch though. You can only attune to 3 items. ONLY 3!!! So no having like 5 or 6 magical Items like in other editions. you can still use magical items that don't require attuning.

So let me tell you now. Putting on an item or holding it WILL NOT tell you anything about it effect, you will only learn that it is magical.

Any question?))

the monk tries on the boot. you can tell they are magical but not what they do.

jack speaks up "From what I have read they say 'made by the fey so those who wear it walks like the Fey'. Take that as you will. I personally want it so when you wear it it turnes you into a fey creature, hopefully something ugly so I can laugh. But I honestly don't know."

Aurel looked at Hatred "Woslyk, Can I ask if the New Elf friend deserves a reward?"

Aurel waits for a bit.

"That can wait for a second. Now sarah my dear, can  you tell me why you have bandages on your else?"

Sarah takes a step forward "My eyes were hurting when I awoke. So I bandaged them, they don't hurt so much now. I must thank you for your employment. I am sorry I didn't realize they got Jack sooner."

"No worries my dear. You put your self in risk just doing what I asked you to do. You couldn't protect yourself like these adventures could. I am in debt to you my dear. Now we shall figure out my repayment to you.
He says kindly.

He turns to the cultist but clearly talking to every one in the room " Now to dealt with these cultist. I personally would like to have them as my staff. It is either that or  jail and maybe even death for their crimes. I will put my request to the council."

He then turns to the goblins, kneels down in front of them and ask "May I ask why you two are here? I haven't heard of many goblins being near by or even attacks."

The goblins are visible scared, and clearly don't know what to say.

Aurel then speaks "Woslyk, you probably know why they are here"

"They come on behalf of a goblin settlement not far from here in the forest. They wish to improve relations with Rosewall. They have been chosen to be diplomats by fate, not by choice. We stumbled upon them along the road when they were looking at a strange plant. In my haste and knowledge from a place far from here, I knew goblins to be more wicked and I slew their ally. They are innocent though, and as my attonement, I bring them to your presence to speak with the council to make peace with their stronghold. Their people do not seem hostile, and though they show fear, these two with the child fought an owlbear and a large grizzly when they were outmatched. The elf deserves a reward because he saved them as they and Sarah were injured from the battle."

Hatred gives a smirk to the unknown elf, the face saying "you owe me one"
