Burtan strand up straight like he remembered soemthing. "Tiefling, this is just fair warning. Magic isn't super common in out town so please keep your undercontrol." *SNIFFS* "What the hell, why is an owl that smells of blood coming this way?" burtan then questions.

An owl swoops down in to the square and drops a dagger infront of Hatred and flys aways.

I would also ask, in terms of this encounter here with the Kobolds, that even though we were foretold to have defeated them, are we given any compensation for this endeavor?"

hatred investigation check(5). You don't know if he is faking or being serious about being able to smell the owl. When the owl got close to you, you could not smell blood on it.
