Ok the title is a bit big but I always kind of wondered this.

You hear a lot of initiation for guys and it usually is spying on them or stealing articles from women (In a really dumb way). It serves its purpose and is a reaffirmation of their masculinity.

Yet what I still don't understand is why 'a' female equivalent is dressing a guy, willingly, unwillingly, or unknowingly... in drag?

I don't see how it reaffirms femininity (Which to give a definition... I'd say "I am a woman YAY!" where masculinity is "I am a man YAY!")

I was the victim of this at a young age, so young I didn't know they were doing anything unusual to me until all the adults laughed at me. Yet what I found out is that this is actually quite common an occurrence.
