The Search for the Master (6/6) It begins
« on: April 26, 2015, 01:52:56 am »

Spoiler: The map (click to show/hide)

In the heat of the desert there is little for mere mortals. The sands are barren and dry, the rock lands are unfarmable, and the plains lack the fruits and vegetables to sustain a population. It is for this reason all of you are glad for the Master. Glad, but perhaps also annoyed at him. With his disappearance none of you have been able to sleep quite right, the air just feels wrong when he's gone. Whether you're an apprentice of his learning to control the supernatural, or one of his augmented champions, having never seen the light of battle since the before times when there were only tribes and the cities of the coasts were naught but metaphorical clay waiting to be shaped by the hands of the great ones. That is why you all gathered here on the outskirts of Buffalo's Rest packing your supplies onto the great undying elephant for travel. Soon, you shall be off to right the wrongs of that great old fool, and perhaps, you'll do some other stuff as well.

Spoiler: Character Sheet (click to show/hide)

Every level you will get a beneficial mutation that's rolled up by Piecewise's awesome Auto-Morphica.
In this game you journey to find the Master, a senile old wizard with godly powers who escaped his room and is now causing havoc in the wastes. Will you find him? Who knows, but it'll probably be fun along the way, eh?

I'm making a Kitsune. Gimme a bit.

Also question, Why metal augments? Perhaps explain that augment system better before I get around to making a character?

Because Mental ones tend to have to do with madness and stuff. And the Good ones only come from special things. Things I don't want to get into at the start as I'm just an ameture and I don't want to swamp myself in things to handle.

EDIT:  Also, you'd better have a damn good reason as to why you're playing a kitsune.

Oooh, you mean mental, you wrote "metal."

And I was like.. Wait. Are they cyborgs?

And I do have a good reason~

I maaay actually do one of my vampire characters, although debating on yes/no for that.

Yeah, it's late here.

Anyways, unless you can provide me with a really good reason as to why your character isn't one of the races in the OP, it's not going to happen. However, If you make a Physically Augmented Character I'd be perfectly happy to actually find something to bring you closer to what you want.

Dying of laughter?
Dying of pure unbridled hatred, actually.

Like Cheesecake said, do we decide our own augmentations beyond type?

If there is a skill system, or even an actual character sheet, could it be explained? I also ask the last 2's question.

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

But...
There is an actual character sheet. It's in the OP.

To answer the question about whether you guys choose your own Augs.

You don't, I'll be generating them for you. However if you have a specific idea I'd be more than happy to see if there's something written up for it.

While I don't have a specific idea, per se, I would like to know if there's anything ice-related in the Supernatural side of things.
