So just as a public service announcement, you can have the forum software auto-ignore people for you. Go into your profile, hover over "modify profile", then "buddies/ignore list" in that dropdown menu.

I highly recommend it.

Back to map design... I propose the genera is a fantasy, but the world is not purely classical; in fact, it is just pre-industrial, perhaps similar to 1800 in OTL... plus magic users and the classical fantasy setting trappings, including a hostile world full of bandits, goblins, trolls... The map itself could be drawn in any style; if it's modern, then it's more useful as a reference. If it's fantasy, then it's more highly thematic.

Map size doesn't matter to me, although I suppose it makes more sense to start with a single kingdom and expand it.

I propose that there are no cities or settlements within ten miles of the pyramid, and anyone who ventures too close risks simply vanishing.

Reasonable. I myself intended it to be a chance, not a certainty. Your idea makes more narrative sense.

soooo....seeing as how we decided on atlas style (so we could have a big world but still handle small towns and such)) are you going to copy that page then start drawing? or are you using a different design for each page?
