Telekinesis is a basic spell, right? Use that to get the valuable thing.

Absolute child's play for you. You easily pull in the gem and examine it. It appears to be some sort of remnant from the explosion that happened earlier. It's absolutely brimming with unstable energies and is making a very distinct humming noise. In your medical opinion, if this gets thrown against something hard enough, it'd likely explode very violently.

Bring it to the resident "Unstable Gemstone" Professional, FOX GUY!

Also, Grab that note.

What note? This is your diagnostic computer. It runs on a beefy 8 kilobytes of RAM! It doesn't seem to be working either.

What's worse, you remember that that Hrush lady didn't even pay you for her medical expenses. What a fucking jip...

Surly, "Hey Pix looks like you made it okay at least. What do you make of this gem here?"

Pix, "Errr gem? Yeah sure..."

Pix, "Yeah... this is a soul gem, extremely unstable. There's at least two or three souls trapped in this thing which is why it's so... wobbly. You'd probably be able to power an entire building with this thing."

Pix, "Besides... what happened? One moment everything's fine and the next the entire building is shaking and shrapnel is going everywhere?"

Go behind the building and throw the soul gem at the Kobold corpse laying out there.

If we reincarnate as the skeleton, rename ourselves Necrobold!

You head towards the alleyway door and out into the back end of your facility.

The outside area is cold and windy with the ruins of Neo-Vilknorn in the background, as any post-apocalyptic ruin needs to have "Neo" in front of it. You find the ominous skeleton of a kobold outside. Just out of sight you can faintly hear a moan. The exit towards the dumpster has been completely toppled with debris.

You throw the soul gem into the skeleton. The soul gem integrates into the body easily and begins to repair the body slowly. It'll probably take some time until the soul is perfectly fermented into the body.

You take a look at the other guy. Based on what he's wearing, he's obviously part of DELTA COMPANY the famed post-apocalyptic gang from pre-apocalypse guardsman that took over five minutes after the NEO-APOCALYPSE 20 minutes ago.

There's a very obvious wound of him cleanly missing his whole right arm. Besides that, you'd need to get a better examination of his internal wounds by either using a scanning machine in surgery or using a scanning spell.

You jab the DELTA COMPANY soldier with PURE HASTE.

This was probably a terrible idea.

The DELTA COMPANY soldier becomes ENRAGED and HOSTILE!

You arm yourself with your trusty bonesaw that your father before you past onto you and a health meter appears to signify the enemy's health.

You'll need to use all of your MEDICAL TECHNIQUES in order to "heal" him!

What is this borderlands? Attack normally with your buzz-axe until your health goes below 33%, then use your action skill to trigger Release the Beast! Hopefully you will have also gained some stacks of Salt the Wound and Bloodthirst in the process to increase your melee damage and damage resistance...

-1 to the above, but only if this doesn't work: cast remove/cure poison on the lizard dude, then heal him.

Time travel has not nor will ever exist in Cavern Quest. I think it's a lazy plot device and there's absolutely no specific character that has that specific impossible power.
Wait a minute. Doesn't Stonut have time-travel powers?
