Nonsense. Contemplate current abilities.

Retrieve arms from the safe.

Agreed. One should never leave his home without equiping one's weaponry.

Actually, I would vote for a staff - if choosing our weapon is an option which is available...
(Not sure if I am killing the joke, or actually bringing it to a contribution. Let's see what unfolds ;o)

Retrieve arms from the safe.

Consider what spells we have

Your arms were in your pockets dummy! Besides, you're fairly sure you've never owned a safe.

As for what spells you know, you're pretty good at fire manipulation. Though you also know some telekinesis and minor healing spells.

As for what abilities you have, you're pretty small and unassuming, giving you a knack to be unnoticed when you want to be.

Look out the window
Then look behind the broken fan for some loot

Outside you can see a sleezy gentleman's club. The kind of place that only a degenerate mustache twizzler would go to.

There's a TRUSTWORTHY FELLOW outside as well.

And... oooh a circus! You love a circus!

Enough of that for now...

You reach up to see if there's any sweet loot behind the fan to find out that it's just a cheap sticker pasted onto the wall.

This place is kind of a craphole.

Consider what spells we have, then loot our box.
+1
Consider if it actually counts as looting if it's our own box while we're at it.

You can always pretend its looting! It gets you into the adventurous spirit anyways...

Inside the box you find three SUPER AWESOME posters, one map, and one personal spellbook.

You didn't really take much from home as you were a bit eager to get going.

Retrieve legs from the safe.

You're fairly sure you already have legs beneath your robes. Besides, you still don't have a safe.

You put it on your priorities to buy a safe to fill it with arms and legs.

Use telekinesis to make the TRUSTWORTHY FELLOW outside punch himself.

((Good work with the flickering lighting from the fire animation.))

It's time to set up a SUPER AWESOME poster. You'll be happier if your room feels like you own it.

Can you cast spells directly from your book with only a bit of practice, or do you need to take time to study and learn a spell from it?

Outside you can see a sleezy gentleman's club. The kind of place that only a degenerate mustache twizzler would go to.
That's a suspiciously intense reaction for someone who rented a room right outside of one, and we all know what they say about people who have the strongest moral outrage to something.

Use telekinesis to make the TRUSTWORTHY FELLOW outside punch himself.
-1. Magical assault is probably both traceable and a crime. Even if it's not, he may be able to figure out if someone casts a spell at him from a window, and he probably has friends that would make your life unpleasant.

Looks like it was an actual grate. There's a few zeni in here that someone must have been misplaced.

The grate leads downstairs, though you're too big to fit in such a small place.

Read spellbook.

You open up your magnum opus in the making! Truly this is a work of the greatest wizard in the land.

You've already written down the spells you're best at, though you're sure you can be creative with them if you felt the need.

You go ahead and put the spellbook into your inventory in case you learn anything new.

That's a suspiciously intense reaction for someone who rented a room right outside of one, and we all know what they say about people who have the strongest moral outrage to something.

You have no idea what you're talking about! You're an upstanding moral center of the community and would never degrade yourself to such a thing! No more talk of that!

It's time to set up a SUPER AWESOME poster. You'll be happier if your room feels like you own it.

You set up your SUPER AWESOME poster to make yourself feel at home!

It's amazing... it reminds you every day of what's important.

You'd better get some money so you can follow through on that. What employment opportunities are there for you?
Check the map, too.

Wait. Were you raised by dwarves? You had better have been raised by dwarves. No normal kobold is so dwarvish.

You were, in fact!

Your father says he found you being carried away by a skeleton. He destroyed it and then decided to take you in as his own. He probably saved your life.

You lived most of your life in the Mountainhome of Anchorwell. It was a bit odd always being around dwarves but you eventually got used to it.

> Loot Zeni
> Loot Map
> Check Under Bed

You "loot" your own property and put the items into your inventory.

There's nothing interesting under the bed besides an old chocomunch bar.

You'd better get some money so you can follow through on that. What employment opportunities are there for you?
Check the map, too.

You decide that it's probably best that you go out and find some work...

You've heard a lot of openings lately in some exciting fields. There's always a demand for caravan guards between the cities to protect from bandits and wayward spirits. You've also heard the city guard is hiring too, if you don't feel like leaving the city. Bounty hunting's always an option, as long as you get yourself a good contact... though it is very dangerous...

Basically anything you can set your mind on would be possible for a job. You can always become a baker or something like that if you wanted!

Oh right your map!

You can see the entire world of Tiirn, such as it is.

From the human dominated Tel Tirgress to the xenophobic wastelands of Syrgazin, it's a big world.

You're currently on the bay of Whales in the city of Vilknorn. Your old home is just up the river.
