Doesn't matter how memorable a changeling is, Immaterial, he could be that dude with the dragon and it wouldn't matter. :v
All it will do is make him stand out *more* when he displays is combat abilities.
Earl's mother was a caravan guard, and taught her son how to handle a sword and a bow. That doesn't mean that he isn't shit at it.
Until further notice, Earl is rolling at disadvantage on attack rolls.
He finds three people meandering on the beach-an unknown man with a fancy sword and a ...tiny pet dragon..., the non-descript one named Paul, and the Halfling woman Natalie, who seems to be somewhat charmed by the flowers. She looks like she's being affected by the same thing he felt.
Is Earl really that unmemorable?
Good.

I also mistook your character for a girl earlier, too.

It works.
All according to plan.
Also, you seem to have a problem with mixing up my character's genders. Remember when you thought Aldeth was a man?

You don't have to do that Imma, just say in game if he fumbles a particular attack or not (generally he might want to do that if there wasn't really any danger, but that risks the chance of the others going 'wait, why were you sucking earlier? You're actually fairly good.)
He might just say that his mother was a fencing instructor or something. -shrugs-

Will Ispil be devoured by plant-things or fend them off!? Will Ker reach him in time to save him!? Will Pau-Er, Earl, ever be remembered by our narrator!?

Find out next time on D&D 5e, as our adventurers BRAVE the NEW WORLD!

Well, technically, the Lost Isle players helped. At least Scriver did.

Hah, I first parsed those scattered question marks in my Cata:DDA brain and was worried about Ispil being surrounded by zombies we can't see.

Yeah, without the Maelocs, they wouldn't ever even have found out about the New World! :P

I'm not sure if that really helps, per se.
