Yes, but not because of piety. Too lazy to rewrite it, but suffice to say the Host doesn't like people poking into the Kikav.

I meant the immortality that was given broadly to the followers of the way.

Missed a detail there. The Infernal Host doesn't care for misotheists/atheists/agnostics at all. They only cut off the arcanite supply of believers.

As it turns out, tomorrow actually means day after tomorrow. Would it take a whole act to provide a message to all the faithful? I ask because in the original Kalpa it took an act to speak to every single Child but that was larger in scale.

My thought is that if you want a lengthy and specific speech which will reach everyone and inspire them to your cause, you should use a separate act.

Also I will be making a new "mortal" ascendant this turn if anyone wants to play the ruling king.

darn. either I A. get half an act B. ditch giving Crusade participants protection from magic or C. Ditch repowering the cities.

Sorry that took a while to post, having trouble getting back into things.

Anyway if anything isn't clear or that flys in the face of what can actually happen just tell me, I see the familiars as living conduits to the magic powers, their special bodies and souls allowing them to still draw on the arcanite.  By stranding them in the surface world and offering them a place of power and effective immortality I am hoping they will cooperate, I figure the Drane can force them to cooperate if they do not.

I plan to do something about the warrens and work to create an empire this turn but I will wait on posting that.

So spider snake is gonna dungeon master it up for a while to keep the infernals out, whether or not the alchemists uphold their side of the bargain is up in the air, but (attempted) protection can be provided irregardless.

That said I missed the part where the Free and Feral Wallowing had traditions of song so I thought I would include that as something the Drane kept as they transitioned, since they probably kept much of their culture.

Gonna make an Arc section to the Warrens. Also I intend to copy the knowledge of the Minds to the Warren's datastorage soon.

Then I'll be working on reinforcing it.

How are they going to eat the Kivav? That seems like it would be very difficult.

How are they going to eat the Kivav? That seems like it would be very difficult.

If they cooperate with magic users, by cutting off pieces using magic and technology.  They do not fully digest the metal or arcanite.

It's just an option open to them, not really achievable right now.
