Oh right the Diamond Caretaker.

And I think I was set up for that joke.

So two new ascendants for anyone who wants to submit one, I did not see any takers.

The fact none of the gods have killed each other so far has been odd.

I also just realized that Meoboroje removing his protection from the new immortals is totally not going against his sphere, he protects mortals, looks like immortals have to protect themselves.

Run me by the roles of each and I might take an Ascendant slot.

One ascendent is the Diamond Caretaker. Caretakers are a stone race. This one happens to be made of diamond.

The other one is called the Shapeshifter. Who is really just a Mind Mage who commandeers people's bodies and runs them into the ground before moving on to the next one.

The caretakers were meant to guide and protect mortals but were mostly made extinct during an uprising by those that were treated as slaves.  They rule or guide the last cities of the old civilizations.

The shape shifter could very well be insane due to mind magic involving some bleeding from the target.  It is likely from the free Wallowings, those who were never under the control of the caretakers and formed their own kingdoms worshiping all the gods.

You can mostly make up what you want with them since they emerged from the world rather then being directly created.

Well, they might keep a favored body intact for a bit. But odds are is they're just running body after body into the ground. They have no reason to bother eating. Or really anything else related to upkeep beyond sleep.

Also they may be insane.

I am also just now creating an ascendant: the Automatons are a race of semi-sentient steel constructs that would literally form lines between armies to stop battles. Constant war is becoming less and less of a thing, though, so Meoboroje made one of them totally sentient to stop the Automatons from becoming irrelevant... And also to get some worship.
