Several Acts could do the same thing as a major act, but major acts can redefine reality significantly.  For example a major act could completely change the rules of magic or the afterlife, or even invert the world outward into a sphere (without killing everything).

Oh if the Mage was interested in a place far removed from the rest of the world, remember there is still Kevak's underworld of caverns and strange metals waiting for someone to do something with it.

And I'm in now. I've already got an idea of what I could do to gain worship and aid the mortals. Although first I might need a longer-lived sentient species with graspers. The Caretakers might enjoy what I have planned.

Raalmana will keep chasing every new form of it, preventing it from doing other things. Maybe I can use a minor act to just learn each new magic?

To be fair, he doesn't need to learn it right now.  That lab will be most useful in learning new things later.

I know its a Crystal, Kevak. Pif-Ria is a god. If she wants to have some Arcanite in another state of matter, she can have Arcanite in another state of matter.

On a similar note though, no memories are discarded, those go in the vault. What gets discarded is unhappy personalities and whatever junk goes into a soul that is neither memory or personality. Memories that are not particularly happy go into the vault, and are currently being used for other things.

Good memories go into the bricks with all the other good things. Other memories go into the vault specifically because Pif-Ria figured discarding them would make Kerivavae needlessly unhappy.

I thought I made it pretty clear that the vault was for all memories that do not go into bricks.

Well, lets simply assume Keri is using the memories from the vault then. What's the point of a mind with no memory? Main reason the discarding upset Keri is due to the fact that they didn't have a mind. Wasted potential.
