It was a pain in the ass getting that thing docked with a tiny tug so I'm not messing with it again.

According to the description for snacks, when those run out it'll start eating your reputation, which means if you're offline and your mission is orbiting and someone fast forwards, rather than just killing your kerbals it could drain your rep...

I believe you can turn that off though. Then again I think you can make TAC non-deadly as well.

I don't think any life support mod is 100% compatible with multiplayer because the ship persists when you sign off, so you'd have to make sure every mission is either self-sustaining or is completed before you log out.

Edit: And can someone please tell me what in the world 'PotatoRoid' is?  I keep getting errors with that as the cause when I enter the server.

So I discovered that (and possibly some of you already knew this) we can use MechJeb without needing it on the server, simply by installing (client-side) "MechJeb and Engineer for All" in addition to MechJeb. (Kerbal Engineer Redux works without that already, and there's a button in the KER settings in the VAB to change it to partsless instead of career)

The only caveat I see is that you just have to not place the MechJeb-only parts like the MechJeb cockpit, because the server considers them banned parts and won't save things containing them.

@shadowlord: any mod that only read and display stuff client side without changing parts or physic is fine


nothing I can't do, I just get disconnected randomly after launch

yesterday I was launching fat ass ships, nothing has changed. oh well.

@forsaken: this could be our standard base attachment point



that was what I was driving to the mun, before giving up to the disconnects. will reboot server and sleep on it.

I reattached the escape pod to the main station. Also, I was unable to get the station to hilariously break by using x4 warp and random spinning. That's good, I think.

They're nearly as bad as badgers. Build a couple of anti-buzzard SAM sites marksdwarf towers and your fortress will look like Baghdad in 2003 from all the aerial bolt spam. You waste a lot of ammo and everything is covered in unslightly exploded buzzard bits and broken bolts.

and that's what is causing all the issues as of yesterday, it seems

server contains no other log after filtering for irrelevant stuff

anyway, managed to land the light module near mun city

not bad for a manual landing! I actually had to hop once, since the first landing was 500mt further north. also, landing by night on slope = two broken legs. this is the screenshot after much repairing (the opposite leg was often damaged by the little jump of the repaired leg)


anyway, sideway legs like that make height easy to reproduce on other modules, but are annoying as there is no much vertical space underneath. luckily the radial engines are quite strong to lift whatever.


forsaken why didn't you chose a flat spot for the base :P
