Oh dear lord.  This is all going to take me a bit to process.  Will update properly later.

By the way, I figure I might as well ask now.

Iitem: How exactly does spreading work, the rules are somewhat unclear on the specifics. Specifically, although it's clear that you need a connection I can't figure out if there is a limit on distance or not. Like, can you spread anywhere so long as a connection exists? Like could the blade grass migrate down into my abyss because they are connected though the caverns, or could they only go down to the caverns? And, if there is a distance limit on spreading, can a fauna that is on a continent spread to any other continent that has a link to the first continent, or only to continents that have a direct connection to the area that the fauna is in? Like, could the Haze Bees spread into the Lightseen caverns, because the caverns are connected to The Glen, or do they need that direct connection?

You can spread within the same Land (Rolling Hills -> Rolling Hills).
You can spread from one Land to another within the same Continent (Rolling Hills -> Oaken Glade).
You can spread from a Land in one Continent to a Linked land on another.
(Rolling Hills -> Lightseen Caverns YES.)
(Rolling Hills -> Vortex Sea NO.)
(Rolling Hills -> Crimson Aether YES.)
(Lightseen Caverns -> Crimson Aether NO.)

Blade grass would have to reach the abyss via the caverns (2 steps), although since there's no light in the caverns it would be an illegal move.  Haze bees could reach the caverns if they first spread to the Hills.

Okay, I'll retcon the Cha Cha removal.  As of turn 3, no more ret-cons!  It is a book-keeping nightmare.  Make your turns in order and then stick with them.

When you place a Land, it auto-connects to any Lands in the same Continent (so you don't need to define that connection).  Any surface-based Lands (Sea, Volcano, Plains, maybe Abyss) auto-connect to any Skies in the same World.  When you create a completely new Continent, you can link it for free to any land that has no other inter-continental linkages (excluding sky) on another Continent.  This is how continents link.

Re: Abysses, I'm okay to allow those to have a contextual connection to the Sky.  If they're linked to Caverns and nothing else, they can be sealed off from it.  Otherwise they have some sort of sky exposure.  Huge bottomless pits beneath the earth are cool.

Also, here's a proposed mechanics change, want to know what people think of it:

I'll be honest, I don't like it. Can't really put it into words well but it rubs me the wrong way.

Can you spread different tiers of tokens into areas at the same time like this?

Like one spread action: Spread your P T1 T2 into a new area?

Edit: And also I see this
As of turn 3, no more ret-cons!

As meaning we can't edit our turns any longer yes? I'm okay with that, except I hope for illegal actions we're allowed to change them to something legal.

Yeah, splitting the shift amongst multiple tiers would be cool.  And illegal moves can be fixed, yes.

So; undersea part of caverns, check.  Azure chamber, check.  Bowlmen and Unmakers, check.

There are no legal lands on the Kaos Chasm side of the Lightseen/Chaos link to make that link viable.  You need another Abyss on that side.  There are no legal slots to spread mould to in the Glens without competing.  You cannot spread from the Lightseen to the Chasm without spreading mould via the Azure chamber - which will require a Pioneer there.  That said, a portal to the Hateful Volcano or Raging Erectionuption would be valid.  Improver currently has 55 fauna credit, one free fauna action and two normal actions remaining.

Well of Secrets, check.  Forge of Reality, check.  Undo cha cha slide, check.  Restore 10 mana + an action to Mother, check.  The sirens have adapted their nest building accordingly.

I think that's everything.

My bad there Micelus. (I seriously feel bad about this since my half-baked advice has caused some drama and confusion) This after I pointed out the single link thing a couple of posts earlier (I think I overlooked it because in my mind linking continents and linking worlds belonged in different categories). It seems your original turn was better (and simpler.)  :-[

Yeah, splitting the shift amongst multiple tiers would be cool.
Still not liking it.  :-\

No worries Spoon. I'm just going to have to edit my turn for the last time. Will get to it after class. If everyone wants to get to the next turn, the gist of my actions will be this:

Action 2: 50 Mana Create Firegourds [T1] in Kaos Chasm.
Free: 50 Mana.  Create the Pirate Tethers [T1] in the Crimson Aether. Bid 10 Mana to Compete.
Action 3: Pass.

EDIT:

Firegourds: resembling a vase in shape, they are composed of a hardy carapace suited to the hellish landscapes of the Kaos Chasm. It filter feeds on Sparklings, converting excess energy into a sugary liquid, which is stored in stubby mycellium-roots. Energy-rich, these roots also adhere the Firegourds to the surface.
Pirate Tethers: Colonial fungi that grow on Atmotes. They instinctively grow in shapes that make the Atmote more aerodynamic, aiding their mobility. They also produce spiky stems to wars off predators. Feed on the Atmote host via specialised needle-mycellium that uses an anaesthetic to prevent combustion.

Oh? Not making a land? May I ask why? You'd end up using exactly the same amount of mana. Oh, wait a minute. That's why?

@Iituem, can mana credit be used in competition bids? If it can be, Micelus would be saving 10 mana by creating a 100 mana land correct? Or two 50 mana lands.

Variant rule is not yet live (need more thoughts about balance on that from other players yet), so you can't spread multiple tokens with the same Spread action, but you can use the Spread action multiple times, yes.

Note that if you're doing one last action it'll need to be a Fauna one (because of building lands).  That's all cool, though.

I'll wait to update the main sheets until I've got your/mic's fluff for the fauna.

Also a note about linkages.  All lands in a given continent are linked automatically (saving space for inter-continental linkages).  So for the Plains of Plenty, Yearning Grassland and Severe Coast you can just put [The Glen] next to all of them and they all autolink together.

Sky Lands auto-link to all 'surface' continents in a given world, but you can (via the Link Land action) deliberately link them to another Land (even Caverns) as with a normal linkage action.

It is Turn 3 after the Improver's turn.  Micelus is the improver, isn't he?
