Run like the bats of hell are at our heels. For all we know, they are.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

You take off as fast as you can, caring not for the pain in your side or your leg. You're amazed how fast you can go, as everything still looks so big as you sprint past it. It's still a bit of a sensory overload, but you do your best to power through it, though the rustling in the canopy above you is quite noticeable (and unsettling.) You can't afford to look up or back, though. Whatever they are, they're fast as well, and only slowly are you getting any distance. It occurs to you, as you go, that some direction would be very nice. Where the hell are you going, other than the fuck away as fast as possible? No idea. Gotta keep going. But getting lost in the thick of the woods could be very very bad...

If at all possible, try to head back towards the house. Cat form: not a good idea.

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

I'm not sure if we know where the house is. Hell, we might not even be in the same place as the house now.
Once you get some distance, get into a bush, move under cover until you're sure they can't tell where you are, then stay very quiet. Running in a random direction is just bound to lead to trouble, and we really need to stop and analyze the situation.

(Yeah, it's one of those things I was into but stopped when I fell into a depression. Something made me remember it again and I also remembered where I was going with it)
