You take the pendant off and make a run for it, hoping against hope that you don't get lost in the woods. You try to keep going in the same direction, veering off to the right a bit. Twigs break beneath your feet and with a lurch in your stomach you feel your foot catch on something. Down a slope you go, the slick rocks and muddy earth meeting your hands and face painfully. Fortunately you come to a stop in a puddle after only a couple seconds of tumbling, not a serious fall by any means, and to your disbelief you see a yellow light through the trees: a window.

You fumble for the pendant, feeling raw, bleeding skin on your hand as you do so. Slipping it on, you get an image of a helicopter thundering out over dark treetops, and a patrol car slowing down. You see a couple SUVs on what is probably a different road. Then you see a wooden door, yellow light shining out from beneath.

Take the pendent off then look through the window.

You take off the pendant and hurry to the window. Looks like the curtains are drawn, though they don't stop the light from streaming out. Then you hear a voice call from inside. "Who's creeping at my window? You better answer!" You jump. Yes, sure enough, that's the voice of Gregor!

[Prophet]

"Gregor its me! [PlaceholderfornameuntilIgofindit] Emily!"

[WillowLuman]

"Greg! It's me, Emily!"
The door swings open, and someone leans out. Yep, definitely him. Jeez, he looks exactly like you remembered. Same grunge look, with the beanie, long hair, and flannel shirt. "Em? That really you? Jeez, you look like hell! What're you doing all the way out here?"

You hurriedly explain as best you can that part of the reason you came to this out-of-the-way town was to return this pendant he gave you years ago, and that a few days ago you finally tried it on, and ever since you've been getting these weird visions, and somehow this got you in trouble, and now you're on the run but it isn't even your fault, you didn't do anything-

"Crap, is that my scrying pendant?" he interrupts. "May I see it?"

Hand him the pendent.

Greg takes the pendant from you and puts it on, staring off into space and waving his hands. "Woah... you weren't kidding. Shit. Uh... you better come in."
He takes off the pendant, and you follow him through the door into the cabin. The place is pretty small and cluttered, with the kitchen and living room sharing a space. There are a couple doors, presumably the bathroom and bedroom, but it seems there's a hammock set up in the corner of this room. In front of the sofa, there's a large table with several books and various small, colored polished stones. You swear you see strange chalked symbols in a few places.
