Framed (It lives?)
« on: April 23, 2015, 01:17:45 am »

You sit alone in your cell in the small-town jail, listening to the drizzle outside. They brought you in for a crime you did not commit, but you know no one here will believe your innocence. Not now. There's no hope of a fair trial, especially not with those who have set themselves against you. As you sit in the cold, twirling the pendant which is perhaps your only consolation out of this, you reflect on the questions left to you:

Who are you, and what led to this sorry state?

[ Is this a suggestion game (and you're asking us to provide a background for the character) or a lateral thinking game (and you expect us to ask yes/no question to figure out a mystery?)]

(I'll take either suggestions or yes-no questions. There is stuff planned but a lot of things are open right now. Try something and see the results.)

[Not an IF fan?]

Look over yourself visually.
look in your pockets
describe the room briefly
look at the door. Is it locked? Is it sturdy?
Try to open it anyway.

The poor sod sitting in this cell is Jeremiah Burke, former middleweight boxer who murdered the man who slept with his ( former ) wife.  Got off on a technicality, but has been a pariah ever since.  After another drunken bender, he woke up next to a dead body.  And now he's in jail.

She is Emily Walker. She was arrested for tax evasion (and also possibly for stabbing the fed who came to ask about said tax evasion).

((Ninja. Is it ok to add desc.?))

Emily Walker is a woman in her early 20s with very long brown hair and eye of the same color. She is wearing a black jacket of what appears to be made of leather, with a matching shirt and jeans. She has a white messenger bag as well, and she is roughly 5 feet 11 inches.

((This is an SG, right?))

Examine the cell for any structural weakness and see if the bars are as stupidly open as in cartoons.

I actually had an idea, but I doubt you want this to go sci-f, Hugo.
