Officer Phil opens the cell door to hand you your food, the tray being too wide to fit through the bars horizontally. It holds a black plastic bowl of chilli, piping hot from the microwave, and a metal fork and spoon with which to eat it. You take the tray without a word.

Eat chili? If the chili is too hot let it cool down for a bit then eat it.

If the chilli is hot then put it aside and put on the pendant again

The officer leaves you alone to eat your chilli, shutting the door behind him. It's far too hot to eat, being fresh out of the oven, so instead you opt to slip on the pendant again, once the cop is out of sight. You get a brief glimpse from the outside of the police station, which is located towards the edge of the small town, only a short stretch from where the road goes off into the woods. Then the view goes back to the kitchen. You hear the news cast come to an end, and see both the officers enter the kitchen, leaving the lobby empty. The other one, who's name you don't know, begins looking through a stack of DVDs on top of a shelf.

It's very confusing... you felt the cold of the rainy night outside, and the kitchen, a bit warmer than your cell. You try to move your arms, but you feel your elbow strike the wall of your cell behind you. This gives you a disconcerting feeling of being in two places at once.

Can we hear thoughts or such? Can we speak? Is it possible to change perspective?

You whisper something to yourself, but you cannot hear it from the kitchen. With a bit of willpower, you see quick flashes of the rest of the building. You're not sure how you did that, but now you're certain that these two cops are the only ones here.

See if our chili has cooled off.

Removing the pendant to check on your chilli, you find it still hot. Guess it hasn't been 2 minutes yet. You stick your metal fork and spoon in the bowl to help it cool down faster.

Put on the pendent again.

[WillowLuman]

Your view returns to the kitchen. The one policeman is still looking through the stack of DVDs. The other is putting on a pot of coffee. It looks like they might be a while.
