back on topic...
i say 7/10, sounds good as backround music, dramatic moment in a video of some sort, but not really something to repetitively listen to.

3/10 Not a fan of any kind of song that makes it into the intro/outro of modern anime.

Whenever I hear someone say that they lost the game, all I can think of is I Wish by Infected Mushroom.

7/10
I'm in the group that doesn't particularly like techno/synthpop/trance but still can enjoy Infected Mushroom.

Dunno, explicit warning perhaps?

Agreed, It deserves way more attention and praise than it got. TS series is infinitely better than the Halo series.

7/10 It's a pretty good song, but a little to chaotic for my taste.

Here's some good old prog rock:

6/10  That song was like cheap liqueur, the more you hear the better it gets.  Up until that synth bit anyway.

This thread needs moar german.  And with an amv.  Both are pretty obscure tough...

Rammstein? Obscure? Since when?

Also, 7/10. That Asuka is sassy.

System of a down is so overrated I can't believe it. Every teenager who thinks they know what metal is thinks that System of a down is most awesome thing ever. Serj can't write a good song to save his life and the instrumentation is on par with a garage band with no talent.

I would post A cruel angel's thesis but I guess that's not from a modern anime

Ignore me, I'm a moron for having a different timescale.  Also, modern/=recent, but Torak is still right, its not the modern cash making strategy of having cheap J-pop artisits for your intro.

I'm sorry if by modern you meant last week.  I don't watch enough "modern" anime to prove you wrong, so I am sorry. and I'm wrong.

I have no idea if this is from the anime, but it looks like it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=did2nTne_VU
is this modern?

I don't actually like metal, in fact I don't even consider System of a down metal. I do listen to them occasionally but only for short bursts and then I start to get sick of it. I understand what you are saying as I am occasionally in that mood about all metal.
