After an hour had past, Warek began heading over to the barracks, and the others followed along.
The tall building was easy to find, being the only one made out of proper stone, rather than timber and thatching.
They went inside to find a surprisingly small room, with a table in the center, and a distinct lack of chairs.
The pink-haired woman was inside, leaning over the table with a map laid out in front of her.
She looked up at the group, and pointed a finger at each one in turn.
"Eight of you. Well, that should be enough."She straightened herself up and spun the map around to face the group, and pointed a finger towards the northern part, along the path through the forest.
"Impiyego forces have cut a path through the forest all the way down to these mountains here. All of their major traffic has to run along this route, which is good for us. Our scouts have informed us that two days ago, there was a force down at the mountains, and they attacked some area of natives that we haven't explored thoroughly yet. They were seen loading up a group of wagons with various things. Our scouts say they saw a large number of these 'wyverns' being loaded into one. If Impiyego manages to get their hands on these, and train them, then our only advantage over them from our fliers will be gone. So we're going to head north to cut off the wagons, and ambush them."She looked up at everyone.
"Any questions?"
