So I noticed my butcher's dream change... Dwarf Therapist says his stress is fine (0), and i don't believe that i've missed them falling into a mood at some point.  He even still attends parties and murders and gelds my animals for me (training for my future hammerer).  But this dream change i've only seen in those that have gone insane...

Has anyone else seen this?  I'm pretty sure his dream was NOT that when i assigned him.

It's the ultimate megaproject!

Lure the king to your fortress and become the Mountainhome. Assassinate every king that isn't the butcher, eventually all the false rulers will be dead and he can ascend. Then raise a mighty army with dozens of legendary soldiers, and get the elves and humans to declare war on you. Retire the mountainhome and do whatever while His Majesty's army beats the tar out of everyone else through world-gen warfare.

Thanks to you, he will then have accomplished his dream.

Well maybe the RNG just lets the goblins take the site. When you are not controling the army, it is hard to say what could happen.

I seem to remember seeing this dream in goblins before. Dunno how a dwarf would get it, though. Could be a rare memory corruption bug.

That's probably what's doing it. Weird though, the only default race that values power that much is goblins. Might want to run him through the showers to see if a greeny decided to sneak his way into your fortress.

Actually on closer examination those look like they are all goblish values. Better rev up the magma.
