Caption this DF-Based Post-It!
« on: April 18, 2015, 06:57:26 pm »

So, a buddy asked me to make a little comic (for funsies). It ended up on a post-it note, sort of like most of the art I do. The theme was "Modern Dwarf Noble". That is, a Dwarf Noble on Earth in 2015.

I had a caption, but thought it might be fun to submit this scene to the best minds of the CG&S Board and cringe see what you guys come up with.  :P

I included my originally intended caption, too.

"Alright, Urist, I'm gonna need a couple of yards of of solid gold industrial-grade piping fit for high-pressure liquid pumping. Yes, solid gold, no alloys. You'll find a way to make it work."

Our forward thinking overseer at the time devised a way in which werebeasts can live in peace with other dwarves by utilizing the mysterious magical properties of soap!

"... So then he says "We don't have 5 million Jellybeans". I had him executed, you just can't let things like that happen. Oh, wasn't he your brother? Well, I'm sure your better off without him."

"When I say "Moon Rock Chest" I mean it. I don't care how far away it is."

You can't make an omelette without melting a few dwarves...
The purple overseer hat weights heavily on one's head. Some would argue that the leadership of Doomforest is uneasy to bear for too long. Others would simply suggest that we don't craft the next overseer hat out of rutile.

This raises many more funny questions that it answers.  :P
