Take up room in the Monastery
The training we would likely recieve in the outskirts, may come in handy. Training as a monk certainly will. That, and the former cost ten times more than the later.

Not sure we want any banking right now, as we could invest that gold into some freedoms, or weaponry.

Pay the 100 gold processing fee

Let's hope it is a one-time deal ;o

b) Buy the right to obtain half a percent of all bets placed upon your victory for 100
d) Buy the right of partial organizational sponsorship (max: 5g per sponsor) for 200

This would leave us at: 500 -75 Tithe, -400 Contract Stuff - 10 Quarter = 15 Gold
Well, an investment, I'd say.

+1, I'd also throw in passage to the factory district, because it is there, and we can afford it.

Quote
b) 10 g/month, Liagoran Monastery: Monastic cell. Must live by strict rules. (MP Regen: 3/15 minutes, +3d4 Monk XP per day)
I think it is an obvious choice even with strict code, yes, arena gives us more XP but Temple sounds better.

So

100 right to get rights
+ d) Buying the right of partial organizational sponsorship (max: 5g per sponsor) for 200
+b) Buying the right to obtain half a percent of all bets placed upon your victory for 100
+c)  Freedom of passage to the Factory District for 10
+ Pay 10G to the monastery for the month

This leaves us with 5G :)

I am sure factory should offer us something interesting like mass produced weapons

Factory does offer work, at very low rates. It's also a reasonable place to buy, barter, repair, and meet certain plot elements. Of course,  the latter is true of many options.

Work... well, some crafting works can be an interesting option if we will get a chance to learn in the process. Other than that... meh

You do. You can earn yourself a level in general or specific crafting. This does include alchemy and medicine, in case you're curious. Yes, there is overlap between Weaponsmith and Weapon Specialist.

Hmmm. Can we try to find a job during this Plot'n'Shopping or no time left?

There's a few days between fights, so yes, you can.

All fanfics are heresy, each and every one, especially the shipping ones. Those are by far the worst.

Then, I suggest, in addition to the shopping

Visit factory district and try to find a job that will pay in weapons or battle supplies. Including, but not limited to:

Metalsmiths for weapons\armors
Alchemists for potions
Bonecarvers for bone weapon\armors

Bonecarving can be a nice crafting to multi-class into, because  we can work from this:
Quote
T0 Bone Weapon (Attempt to make simple bone weapon for 4  MP.)

What do you think, guys?

Let's just get a better feel for the city before we commit to looking for jobs.

You can always buy healing in advance. The Temple is already putting in 4 HP of credit per fight for you, and unlike you, they have a fixed rate and a legitimate contract. It won't be too long before they start charging you more for treatment based on your income.

I'm not comfortable, at this stage, making a habit out of blowing our MP on crafting. Especially with an inferior material like bone.

Actually I'm not sure I like the idea of investing in our non-combat skills in general quite yet. At this point, we need to keep it simple; Build Monk and Perhaps Priest and Gladiator Levels, Earn Money, and aim to become a free gladiator. Perhaps do some menial work for cash or gear meantime. After we have our freedom we can work on establishing a life; Having a family, career, and/or a big scheme for vengeance will be a big pain in the ass if we are still at the beck and call of a master.

Once we have our freedom, we should have no trouble setting up a life with what skills and connections we have. I'd bet Monk and Priest have some utility outside of the arena. Furthermore, I half suspect that our religion, which endorses love but counts deities of Lust, Envy, and Beauty among its enemies might offer arranged marriage... or at least matchmaker services. Once we become a famous gladiator, we should be quite the catch, and can allow the experts to find us a significant other. We are in good enough standing with our god that the temple will want to see us matched up with somebody right for us.

tldr version: Just Focus on Combat Stuff and Buying our Freedom for now. We should be in a solid position to branch out and extablish ourselves once we are no longer enslaved.

You can always buy healing in advance. The Temple is already putting in 4 HP of credit per fight for you, and unlike you, they have a fixed rate and a legitimate contract. It won't be too long before they start charging you more for treatment based on your income.

How long is healing purchased in advance good for? If there is no risk or downside, everybody would be doing it.

Who says they aren't? The Elf casually cut off his own leg because he suspected poison, which does imply he had invested for damage ahead of time. Obviously, it's wasted money for him now, but still.

It's good until you use it, although once you get past a certain amount in advance, the price also goes up.
