War must be, while we defend our lives against a destroyer who would devour all; but I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.

In Theory, we can add 48 Damage, some of which happens to be completely unblock-able, to the 12 damage already on the Gore Attack. Should be more than enough to overcome whatever armor the vampire has and stop it dead. If it hits the vampire dies, if it misses we are out of MP and likely screwed. By no means ideal, but I think All-In Horns of Steel is our best shot.

Unless I'm mistaken (first cup of coffee  no glasses) we're at a bit of a deadlock.

So, it's sounding like:

A) kill the Soulburned soldier
B) Try to turn Death Leech into Venom Leech on the Thrall
C) Drain the terrified guy
D) Direct attack on the vampire

I'm going to declare that for this particular circumstance, you can double-cast Leech on two targets as one action without provoking attack or mana tax, so A and C would be one action.

Now it's a question of whether you attack the vampire or try to poison the Thrall.

We need to be safe. Option A will likely get the entire coward group trying to fight us again. B and D Likely piss of the most powerful piece on the board.

We need get back up to full MP and survive as long as we can without picking up Rage Counters. No one so far has disputed my theory that our best chance of winning is to drop an All-In horns of steel attack on the Vampire when the field is a bit less full, so until then, we should pick on single targets, and work the crowd.

Option C, Also Guard.

A) kill the Soulburned soldier
B) Try to turn Death Leech into Venom Leech on the Thrall
C) Drain the terrified guy

Acting like a coward, leeching safe targets, avoiding fights and so on
a) OOC
b) Not honourable
c) will not make us popular among the crowd
d) actually killing the leader of soldier group may make them stop acting as a coordinated unit and\or don't mess with us anymore. Not mentioning that scoring kills may influence how much gold we get. And I want to see a soulbreak
e) Vampire may not understand that it is use who poisoned his meal, while direct attack is more obvious (and still not 100% as he is busy drinking). Even if he will understand that it is us, I don't think he will 100% retaliate immediately.
f) defending when we are not attacked is wrong.

GM hat Meditate rage away.

NVP: Possibly, try to convert Rage Counters into MP. Couldn't hurt, presumably, even if it only does one or the other.

A & B: Fighting 1x1 is the definition of honorable, and not out of character. So what if they are hurt already, somebody is going to have to kill them before the match ends. I'm all for actually attacking these guys instead of leeching them from a distance, I just want full MP first, and this looks like a pretty safe spot to throw a leech.
C: We have gladiator levels. If we put some flare into finishing off some of our foes, the crowd will be on our side. They will also love it when we tear apart the vampire in one hit at the end. We also just got that big gory dramatic kill on the sea elf, and that had to be worth something to the crowd. I do want to see a soulbreak though.
D: We don't know this. That said, it is logical. I'd rather not risk it, but Double Draining the coward leader is my second choice.
E: Again, I'd rather not risk it, and furthermore we have no clue if this action will even do anything to the vampire except piss him off. Lastly, the vampire has mage levels, it could blast us from a distance while it is still drinking.
F: You may be right, but I think our odds of survival are not great even if we play perfectly from here on out. Fighting in any manner other than cautiously and conservatively is pretty suicidal. I don't think it is a major sin in our religion if we are not going full on balls to the wall on every turn of every fight. As long as we don't actively run from anybody, and get in there to fight once in a while, we should be more than fine with our goddess.

I'm not opposed to taking a moment to meditate or work the crowd. And this could be a decent time to do so... hmmm.

"Defend" is an action meaning "be on guard against attack, gain unspecified defensive bonus". Great for surviving multiple blows and upping your AOO probability.

It's neither honorable nor dishonorable to be ready. If you did nothing but defend without a valid reason, it becomes cowardice, though.

Pah. Nobody else seems to be voting, so I'll change my vote to Finish Off Mr. Soulburn with another leech so we can move along. If the first leech isn't enough, fire a second. Otherwise guard in case the group of cowards targets you again. Perhaps focus on making the spell invisible this time, so that the others don't know that we are responsible for killing their leader.

I still believe that this "guard" is a waste of action as we are not under attack.

How leach soul burned+leach terrified convict + try to poison vampire's snack is worse?

It leaves us with less than full MP, and has a non-zero chance of pissing the vampire off. If we must piss the vampire off early, I'd rather have full MP.

You try to make your Leech subtle, but it fails outstandingly as the aura of the leader visibly manifests. It's predominately red, with swirls of an orangey-yellow, but what is most visible is the stark black streaks through it, arching back to you. As the crowd noise quiets slightly,  he pushes out from the coward-soldiers as his colors fade to entirely black before suddenly becoming unbearably, blindingly (in the metaphorical sense) bright, and you look away.

There is an explosion, followed by two sensations: an intense, burning pain searing your flesh, (-8 Magic Damage, +4 Rage Counters), multiple cannon shots, and UNSTOPPABLE RAGE!

Thoughts of retreat and defense leave your mind entirely as you focus on the nearest Spearconvict, who appears to have been badly burned from the same explosion, grab him by the collar with one hand, and thrust your head and horn forward as you  snap back the arm. His head splatters like a rotten melon (15 Piercing+Bludgeon), and with a bodily roar, you spin and hurl the corpse at the rapidly advancing soldiers, checking their advance into an awkward stumble for a moment as the flying body rolls and bounces into the legs of the van.

You glare, and strike your hoof against the ground twice in warning as your tail flicks and blood runs down your face!
