Please, if I miss anything, point it out to me. It has been a long time so I have to get back into the swing of things, but I believe I got everything since the last update.

ACCEPTED PROPOSALS

Requests and Production Projects List

A. Produce Warbler weapons

B. Produce the SAEs

C. Produce Lightweight Frag Grenades

RETURNING IDEAS:

A1. Attaining Kerminkian Aircraft for analysis and reverse engineering. -With MoD
----> A: When we get the Kerminky planes, have a few engineers reverse engineer them and give us the specs.
----->If we have more than one, hold mock dogfights between their planes and the Seawind.

A2. Switch over from Gilton to Wildcat. Relegation of Gilton to export only. - With Ben at the MoD

Research and Development List

1: Design a jet fighter to escort our bombers, and intercept enemies. It should be able to escort our bombers all the way into enemy territory, and back. Armed with minimum 2 30mm cannon
 2.1 Armed with minimum 2 20mm, +4 .50cal, with hardpoints for underwing armaments

2. A pulse jet powered, semi-active radar using missile armed with a 250KG warhead. Should be able to be fired from towable trailers(Dont want to make the mistake of the V1)
 3.1 500kg warhead

3. Solid fuel rocket system, capible of being fired from aircraft, vehicles, trailers, and/or ships. Minimum of 15kg warhead and 5km range(non aircraft varients only)

4. A small, powerful, air-droppible jeep, for use by pairatroopers or mountan troops. should be able to carry four passengers, or to tow 1 ton. Main focus should be weight

5. Condor medium jet bomber; twin engined 2000KM range 2 crew 3000KG internal bomb storage designed for fast, high altitude flight

6. Raven LMG; belt fed and 800-1000 RPM. light, reliable. 8mm Bullet

7. Petard 82mm mortar, updated mortar to work alongside and/or replace existing Mortar

8. Jackhammer microgun, 8mm bullet

9. Design an expensive, highly efficient specialist 50mm mortar made from light composite materials. Should use standard 50mm ammo

10. Design a CAS jet aircraft named "Stinger". Armed with a 40mm gun, 2 50 cal machineguns, and light rocket\bomb pods. It is designed to attack armored targets, light ships and heavy targets.

RETURNING RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

R1. Two-engined transport plane. Make sure it can drop paratroopers, along with transporting supplies. Make the engines quiet, and make it large enough to carry 2 sections of paratroopers.

R2:Radar. Develop Radar if we haven't already; if we have, improvements on detection and acquisition for current systems, and maybe see if we can shrink it down to fit into a palne.

R3:Nuclear power. research possibility of creating reactors small enough to fit on ships to power steam turbines instead of traditional coal or oil boilers.

R4:Immortal Class Aircraft Carrier
---this ship should have a double-deck hanger capable of housing 50-70 of our current smaller aircraft depending on design
---be moderately armored with an incorporated armored flight deck as well as reasonably fast(attempt to get 30 knots)
--- It should have 2 elevator lifts for planes(one fore and one aft),
---as well as 4 sponson mounted twin-40mm AA(one at each corner), 4 quad 20mm cannons, and 4 superfiring twin 140mm dual-purpose turrets
---(two turrets foward of the island, two aft, all of them(and the island) in the starboard side.)

R5. Sniper rifle "Impaler"
Now for real. Same goals except now they have to be able to use our new munitions.
Also they should have the power to pierce through body armor and kevlar.

R6. Nerve gas -
Paralysis of the lungs and to be able to kill anyone not protected by gas mask.
Should be able to be easilly air dropped onto a field and 'cover' a medium to large area.

R7. New heavy tank (It should be faster, more maneuverable, while also keeping most of its armor.)

R8. Leviathan Class Submarine

All unsuccessful ideas can be resubmitted next month with new designation numbers.

Month 3, Week 2, July, 1945

You reminise. One month ago your nation declared war on its new enemies, the Principality of Jurelia. One month ago, the Principality declared war on the struggling Vellan Commonwealth. Since then, you nation has been supplying the Vellans with equipment, albeit outdated equipment. Itannic ships have been bloackading the Principalities ports and capturing the nations convoys whilst the Air Force has been bombing the Principality from bases in the Vellan commonwealth.

(Roll=11) Whilst you nation has been preparing for war, your ROF has been no exception. It has managed to produce over 3 million 8x40mm rounds of ammunition, 3000 Warbler SMGs, 30,000 SAEs, 50,000 Lightweight grenades, 50,000 sets of lightweight Crusader armour and 4000 of each type of RFR. The MoD was almost drunk on giddiness when your report went through two days ago. Already, the MoD has mobilised the 27th Air Regiment, the 180th Strike Paratrooper Division, the 13th Royal Artillery (Airborne) and the 8th Commando.

They are being issued the new weapons with gusto and are expected to be deployed within the next week. You have also heard reports that record levels of munitions and equipment has also been produced in all the other ROFs in Itannia, leading to a bgooming war machine, high morale and fantastic propaganda opportunities. You wont forget the front page image of three rather stunning models holding the latest RFRs off the production line, posing in front of a tank, a pile of bullets and gun racks full of weapons. The headline: GUNS, BULLETS and ARMOUR: Itannia Goes To War.

First things first, you chase the MoD about your two outstanding requests. Surely they have gotten somewhere now, and after your record production levels they owe you a favour at least.

You ring up the Minister of Defense and Security. Ben picks up almost immediately. (Roll=11) With a beam, you ask heartily about your request for the Wildcats to replace the Giltons, and for the Giltons to be relegated to export.

"Ah! Good news, my friend! The Prime Minister has agreed! Wildcat production is to be scaled up immensely to help with the war effort. All current Giltons are being requisitioned by the MoD Requisitions Office for mothballing as we speak!" You can hear him beaming down at you due to a job well done. You cant help but smile either, knowing a design from your ROF has been successful and made its way to the front line. With a jolly chuckle, you ask about your other request, one of a much more political and sensitive nature.

(Roll=1) You ask about your request for a Kerminkian air wing for study. Bens joviality immediately drops through the floor as it turned to lead. With a growl of frustration, Ben admits that the Kerminkian Embassy has all but closed its doors to further negotiations due to the war. The Kerminkian government is posturing and blaming the Itannic Nation for the instability in the region. Ben tells you he has despaired as the old war-lovers of the governments Houses have given as good as they got back to the Kerminkians and now there is a war of words going on away from the public eye between the two nations. You frown. The last thing you need at the moment is a war with the kerminkians.

With friendly farewells, you end your call with Ben and sert forth for the development workshops. You need to see how your ongoing projects are doing, after all.

News has reached you of new designs from the Naval and Air Force ROFs, however you do not have information on them just yet.

DOMESTIC NEWS

(Roll=10) You find that there is nothing out of the ordinary happening in the nation at this time. News of your ROF's discoveries has reached the papers however, and there seems to be much debate and public interest in your technology. Of course, the MoD is not letting anything out, especially the location of your facility.

You take the wise decision to step up security anyway, as you can never be too sure when dealing with the public, and even less sure when dealing with foreign powers.

Recuitment is going well, and the war effort seems to be keeping our Commonwealth allies stable for the moment. Two divisions have already been sent over to fortify the border. The next ones to go are the military units currently being outfitted with your ROF's produce. Of course, you get that info from an internal military memo, not from the public papers. Loose lips sink ships after all.

Global news is much worse however. It seems the nation of Vispania, in the far South West of the continent has descended into a Four way civil war between the loyalists and monarchists on one side, Fascists on another, Anarchists on a third side and Communists on a fourth. Of course, various powers on the continent are providing support to their favoured sides. Wisely, the Itannic government has chosen to stay out of this issue.

The Principality, on the other hand, has managed to gain the aide of the Kerminkians. The Kerminkians are providing material goods to the Principality, including vehicles and artillery. No planes, however, and the Kerminkians are not providing air cover. Despite the lack of air cover, it is not a good development. You currently dont have any air droppable equipment that could take out heavy armour, and from what SOE has uncovered about the Kerminkian armour, we will need equipment that can take them out sooner than later.....

Lastly, before I go to bed, I just want to make you aware that should you power far ahead in technology, your enemies can and will try to take examples of your technology to reserve engineer for their own ends. Just bear that in mind. Just because the mightly Itannic forces are superior in one way at the moment, does not mean the status quo will stay that way.

I am trying to make this world as organic as possible. Eventually I will expand to the globe. Currently I am not taking into account the rest of the world, and colonial conflicts could easily become something important in the future.

 Well, we clearly want some form of portable anti-tank weaponry. ATGMs anybody? Perhaps get some work underway on MANPADs while we are at it?

 Thought on things include that for the tank gun It appears that you left in a trait from the universal tank. Also, the fact that the aircraft with less armaments is heavier confuses me greatly.

The Aircraft with less armaments has more hardpoints and larger cannons, both of which add weight.

Also, the wings are reinforced, for higher weight bearing.

And this time I plan on keeping it going.

The extra wing strength I can understand, but unless our 40mm cannons weigh asmuch as a pair of 20mms and a pair of 50cals combined...

Hey Khan will your other stories be updated also?


I agree with Aseaheru but I also believe that we should develop some easily deployable landmines to help inconvenience that armor. An to add with a portable rocket launcher (Must have the ability to RELIABLY punch through armor) and finally the best way to deal with tanks Attack aircraft.

The project almost entirely fails. Your scientists and chemists do manage to produce a chemical nerve gas agent that causes the desired effects, however it disperses extremely quickly and the effects are not always lethal, although they are always crippling. You arent sure how you feel about this. Should you be relieved or disappointed?

For now, you order the prototype shelved until further time that it can be looked at."

Package the new invention as a "Crippler Gas" and send it to the Army. Maybe they can use it to help take prisoners which should help net us good field intel. But also tell our guys of proposal 6 to continue to work on it. A gas attack can cause extreme damage to the enemy. Also add that we also want it to be fired from a Mortar as well as air dropped. We'll leave it their.

I have to say that We've kind of completed that to do list quite well. An some.

 We dont have a SPG, SPAA, or general truck yet. Or, for that matter, any form of armored infantry transport. Other than that... Have we developed a pistol?

((My other games likely wont be updated for now. I want to get back into the swing of things with this game first.

And Aseaheru is right, you havent done a pistol yet, I dont believe (unless I missed a design?) and your artillery is still limited to mortars, which are fine for short to medium range bombardment against uncovered, soft and light targets, but you might want to think about investing in conventional and rocket artillery that can act as full on artillery.

Also, your Infantry might get hurt due to the alck of man portable AT and AA weapons and pack artillery (other than mortars), which you may also want to look into.

And lets not forget, the MoD would still like long range rocket/missile artillery for AA and anti-ship defense. The pulsejet weapons are good, but they could be improved still.

I like the idea of giving the army the gas anyway. Although, as it is still somewhat lethal I am not sure how good it would be in a disabling-only role. Maybe you could have your scientists look into making it non-lethal?))

Here goes some stuff we need.

Truck
 A four-wheel drive design with equally sized wheels, a flexible frame, high suspention and a good field of view, able to tow three tons or carry two, or ten soldiers. A mount should be included for a light machine gun on the roof of the cab. The vehicle should weigh no more than 2.5 ton. The vehicle should be able to ford 3ft of water. The vehicle must contain a radio.

APC
 A six-wheeled vehicle with sloped armor and a turret(equipped with a 50cal coaxial gun and a 20mm cannon, with a pintle mount for the commander), designed to carry a squad of troops into combat and support them while there. The vehicle should weigh no more than 6ton. There should be a hatch in the rear and one above the troop conpartment. If possible the vehicle should be anphibious. The vehicle must contain a radio.

Pistol Design
 A semiautomatic pistol chambered in 8x22mm Itannic, using the short recoil, tilting barrel system with a detachable double-stack box magizine. It is to weigh no more than 4lb loaded or be more than 9in long, with a barrel length of atleast half the total length. A detachable metal stock should also be designed for this, for aircrews and vehicle crews

SPAA
-On truck
 The truck design above with a quad-mount of 50cal machine guns on the truck bed.
-On tank chassis
 The Hoplite with the turret removed and replaced with one containing two 40mm cannon. If possible, a radar detection system should also be added.

SPG
-Mortar on APC
 The above APC with the troop compartment replaced with mounting for a single 82mm mortar.
-Big gun on tank chassis
 The Hoplite with the turret removed, the vehicle span about so the engine deck is in front, and a 100mm AA gun mounted in a semi-fixed turret

Light field arty
-Mountain gun
 A 80mm howitzer able to be broken down into no more than ten parts weighing no more than 200lb. It should have a range of atleast 4.5 miles

Landmine
 Ah... I dont have specifications for this.

Safer gas
 The gas from the last development phase should be tweaked to make it less lethal, but still incapacitating. In addition, a set of 82mm mortar rounds and aircraft bombs should be developed to carry it.

AT weapons
-Rocket
 A simple solid-fuel rocket with HEAT warhead, weighing no more than 20lb and able to hit targets at 400m atleast half the time.
-ATGM
 A solid-fuel rocket with a HEAT warhead that fires from a reusable launcher. It should be wire guided by an operator up to 50m away from the launcher.

-Edit-

 ALSO!

-Anti-air, short/medium range
 A solid-fueled/liquid-fueled second stage radio-guided missile designed to hit aircraft(or atleast explode near) with a 400lb warhead at ranges up to 45miles, weighing no more than 6ton. Development is also to include a launching station with integrated air-search radar system. Intended for land-based instillation.
-Long range
 A ramjet powered radar-beam riding missile with a 300lb warhead with ranges of no less than 90nmi. Intended for installation on warships.
-Minimal range
 A solid-fueled infrared guided missile with a range of up to 4km and no less than 2km, intended for hitting low-altitude and comparatively slow aircraft. Weight is to be noless than 30lb.

-SSM
 A ramjet(with solid fuel boosters at launch) powered radar guided missile with a range of noless than 1000nmi. Intended for land-based instillation and for targeting against ships. Development should also include an internal-guidance version designed against land targets.

You can have up to 6, just a reminder, but the less things you choose to specifically build, the higher the number of units built for the designs you do choose.

Bah. Typos are necessary.

As for production... More ammo for the smallarms, the new tanks, the jeep, the transport aircraft, and whatever was the newest small arm we produced.
