Slope gave a sigh of relief. Thankfully he didn't have to go down in the bucket.

As Essel is lowered down, the sound of rushing water gets louder. The water, when it sloshes into his boot, is ice cold, greedily snatching at his legs and attempting to drag him further into the earth. The walls are rough, roughly hewn out. The light of the sunmote reveals a small ridge, and you drag yourself up to it with difficulty. A small archway is hewn out, leading into darkness, but the walls are square and regularly. Perhaps you coudl crawl through on your hands and knees.

Staring further down the cave where the water flows reveals nothing in the radius of the sunmote, but you think you can hear a faint roar coming from that direction.

Up above, the sudden pull of the water almost drags you off your feet again. You strain against the flow, then suddenly, the weight is gone.
