Name: Pharon
Karma: Neutral
Archetype: Warrior
Description: A soul entombed in a nemes headress, he wears a crimson shirt of high quality with a heavy hood. A bronze mask is firmly attached to the hood. A faint blue glow emanates from the mask's eye holes. A leather harness is firmly attached to him. A ceremonial khopesh, a golden eagle and a copper coin are attached to it. He wears roughly-made trousers and well-used boots. A grappling hook is sheathed on his right side. He wears bronze gauntlets adorned with rubies and sapphires. Together, these clothes hide the fact that Pharon is a rotting corpse held together by arcane machinery.
Personality: In his first life he was a man; peasant-born toiling on the river banks of the great nation he called home. Even as a child he was quick in wit and filled with bravado. Hearing of him, the local high priest had him tested in the traditional way; the catacombs. A month of isolation from the living and whispers from the Dead would drive most mad. Those who did not were tasked with lifelong service to the nation. The man who would become Pharon emerged from the catacombs with little sign he had suffered, save that he no longer responded to his birth name. Gifted a new name by the priests, he began his education. Earning the admiration of his teachers and his sponsors, Pharon was quickly given the honour of being 'imbued', to be made closer to the gods. Through many days of suffering and ritual, Pharon was infused with the arcane. To make use of his gift, he was assigned to the rebellious cities of the east, where he would quell the people and record their histories. After many decades of service, Pharon was felled by barbarian invaders, but not before taking an army with him. In this life Pharon learnt patience, wisdom and bravery.
In his second life he was a general. Brought back from the Underworld to defend his nation, his body was rotting and weak. That meant little to a mage however. With crystals of power and the desperation of an invaded country, he unleashed the Bite of the Sands and the Torrent of the Waters upon his enemies. When all was said and done, he killed every last member of the invaders' people, their names and all that had been made from them burnt by Pharon's rage. He was banished back to the Underworld by his living comrades for his massacres. In this life, Pharon learnt the true mastery of the arcane, stratagem and the power of rage.
In his third life he was entombed in a metal construct that resembled the kings. Weakened by the years of Death and the lack of a true body, he was a true mage no longer. Instead, he would serve the new Dynasty by aiding in the nation's governance, ensuring that Justice and Order was kept. Pharon remembered little of this life, knowing only that one moment he was ending a rebellion and the next he was in a cave. In this life he learnt balance, charity and tact.
