Prisoners means NPC almost certainly. Prisoner also means unarmed unless the guards are stupid.

Well, actually, that makes sense. :P
But it might be a creative way to introduce more PC's plus, I'm almost certain it is, because it happened in a different FEF but with pirate ships instead.

I'm pretty sure that FOE and I are going to be the next ones introduced, and we're not in the wagon. :P

I'm pretty sure Kal's introduction won't be from within that wagon either, but I dunno.
Maybe the wagon is full of friendly Laguz  :P

The Unforgotten Beast, Shoruke, has come! A pale-skinned human. It has heterochromatic eyes and moves in an unpredictable manner. Beware its rapier wit!

Mmm, unlikely. While technically someone made a system for laguz, it was barely tested and needed a lot of fixing. It's much more likely it's some of the native tribes, probably either young men or women that are intended for slave trade or slave labor or something like that.

Guys, Japanese naming convention is in effect. My guy's first name is Saburou, not Satou.

EDIT: I mean, I have been referring to him as Saburou all this time...
American GM is in effect. Your argument is invalid.

Maybe the wagon is full of friendly Laguz  :P
I get the feeling that I should know what a Laguz is, but I'm drawing a blank.

LAguz are from FE9/10. Can transform into various animals. Three tribes: Beast (Lions, Cats, Tigers, Wolves), Bird (Raven, Hawk, Heron), and Dragon (White, Red, Black). They don't require an item to transform, but they can only stay transformed for a limited amount of time.

Oh, ok.

That makes sense. (Also sounds OP)

Does anyone have any suggestions for Diana's move?

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

Run into the center of the enemy formation and get swarmed

Probably not that, but probably attack if you can reach someone. Better to take out some of the enemies before they all swarm you next turn.

I could probably reach someone, but then I'd be out of the trees and subject to swarming.

You guys need to attack at some point, and at some point that will mean leaving the tree line.

Yes. But should the squishy mage go first?
