If no ones driving drive tactically to give the people shooting a better chance to hit the thing as well as dodge incoming spikes. " me driving can't possible be worse than no one driving... right?"

Quote from: Hasala Nabin To: General Miyamoto
The yellow cloud layer on this planet contains massive, floating flesh-ships, capable of firing volleys of bone shards. Snapdragon has run into two, so far. I think we're closing in on a nerve cluster; how's Gyromitra doing?

Good to know. We are on top of the cluster, establishing a perimeter to stop the ground from eating all our recruits, then we'll start digging. Be warned, we are facing continous mind stress and hallucinations ever since we got close, this seems to be its defense mechanism.

TEAM A
"Steve, what's Flint doing? Has he found the nerve cluster, yet?"
Order Steve to shock Flint if he tells me what Flint is trying to do.

When Yaroslav lands, spend as little time in contact with the ground as possible. Climb onto/into Team B's jeep.

Nudge incoming spikes away from Team A+B with Mass Manipulation Amplifier. Don't try an expensive forcefield barrier that also blocks outgoing fire.

"Yaroslav, get in the driver's seat. Ulrich doesn't look like he can drive, at the moment."
((Of the remaining uninjured people, Ulrich and Yaroslav are the only ones with an Auxiliary bonus.))

Y. Vetrov - Team United

- We're at team B positions, we're landing to get Konrad some help. We're attacked from above, try to hide behind me or get cover.

Land. Get Konrad to Lyra's attention. Cover people with my hulking self if needed.
When hearing Hasala's orders, toss rifle back to John on my way to the jeep. Get in driver's seat, start up, drive to Flint upon command.

((Paris, might want to clarify your target there))

standing by to provide aid to the airborne mr.bleedy. as soon as he reaches me, do so.
accept aid and not die

Yaro drops Hasla straight into the jeep, on top of the guy in the passenger seat, and then brings Konrad over to Lyra and covers both of them while Lyra goes to work on Konrad's wounds. Unfortunately it's all he can do because not only is the jeep already getting overloaded with people, but we won't fit in the driver's chair, being a giant clanking suit of armor.

TEAM B
"Brothers, it appears my shot was blocked!"

Move out with team, and avoid spikes.  If team isn't moving (pretty sure it is), fire with Raduga at the blimp.

If there is clear shot, fire at the blimp.

Ulrich Leland, Team B. Location: In jeep.

"Gah... My head..."

I would say "drive after Flint" again but I'm probably not in shape for that. Let someone else drive and rest my brain.
If there's no one capable or willing then drive myself... Carefully.

If no ones driving drive tactically to give the people shooting a better chance to hit the thing as well as dodge incoming spikes. " me driving can't possible be worse than no one driving... right?"

tie spike to front of rifle ao I can use it for stabby stabby, fire a blimp creature
(( sorry if spelling is bad for I am sick))

((Paris, might want to clarify your target there))

standing by to provide aid to the airborne mr.bleedy. as soon as he reaches me, do so.

Billy grabs Ulrich and drags him into the back seat before taking his place at the steering wheel. He steps on the gas and the jeep roars off as spikes come down around it. Lars and Yaro jog to keep up, blocking the vehicle with their not insubstantial girth.

Bart, going strong for no legs, opens fire at the hostile gasbag and manages to hit it a few times, though it doesn't seem terribly bothered by this. Lyra stops konrad's bleeding and Zoltar, or whatever he thinks his name is now, what with the minor spike to the head problem, ties said head spike to his gun and aggressively bayonets the sky.

The Jeep manages to make it right up to the square adjacent to the one flint is on.

TEAM C
"Hehe. One last question." Flint said between pants, smiling slightly now that his target was in sight.
Not over yet.
"Does it look like a bitch?" he asked Steve, not really expecting an answer as he prepared his weapons, one hand holding the shiny dark rod that was the Rainbow Cannon, unfolding and changing into one of its many brightly glowing shapes, while the other held his mining laser, wires still dangling from it like they did on his first mission.
"Because Imma try and fuck it like a bitch."
Serves it right for what it did.

Keep running towards the brain. Once I'm close enough to make the shot, fire!

Edit: There's no reason to be shocked (pun not intended). I'm just running towards the brain with my weapons ready (which is reasonable when I'm so close to the objective, since the enemy is bound to try and defend it) and feeling really angry and scared (which all things considered is a natural response to being attacked by a frigging planet). So Steve should not be able to determine my exact intentions based on my biometrics. If I get shocked regardless, try to resist and keep going. If Steve doesn't say anything, then Flint is going to assume that the Haebi have somehow hacked into his shock implant.

Flint uses his rainbow cannon to slice a C shaped cut in the ground and then promptly leaps into it and starts cutting a northward facing tench, sweeping it across the skin first to carve through it, then starting to tunnel down into the earth with it.

- Brother Lars, keep covering people, I'll deal with blimp.

Fly up to the blimp, thrust my two-handed sword into the blimp up to the handle near one end of it and the push it all way to another end without pulling out. If it doesn't go down fast at this point, get some acceleration up in the sky and fly though it kinamp fist-first, several times if needed. If there is more than one blimp, apply same technique to the other one(s).

...Lyra stops konrad's bleeding...
((no more detail than that, but you aren't dying anymore.))

Do the suits have ports for Saline IVs pre-installed on them? If so, use some from the medkit to help our heavy bleeders recover from their blood loss before shock or additional wounds/bleeding affects them.

You can't shoot the blimp, your rifle is tied to the bayonet which is still jammed into your face as far as I can see

((Quick post, might made some edits later if I get some time.))

Walk into the hole as I cut. If it looks/feels like I've broken through or am close to doing so, try to point the gun to the side (away from where I'm drilling) and cut power to the beam.
If and when the external capacitor runs out of power, switch to linked internal/external mode and hope the internal capacitor has had enough time to recharge. Then keep moving forward, as fast as I can. If there's a barrier at the end, apply mining laser and punch through it. Kinamp punch if regular doesn't work.
Finally, I have a few kegs of HMRC standard with me. As I move, try to crush them open and use them to cause the molten tunnel below me to cool and solidify while also spraying the absurd amounts of flour I got around. Steve said there's little oxygen here, so it shouldn't be able to burn. If I run out of flour, throw sample containers instead.
((See? I told you pie making materials were vitally important. Why? Because:))
Even if molten slag fall from above the layer of flour and other debris such as broken barrels covering the solidified rock will cause a weak layer to form, allowing me or Lars to more easily punch or laser through it later.
And molten slag falling inside the brain chamber should not be as much of a problem if I'm not directly over the brain because the molten rock is going to touch the fungi flesh which should be full of water and thus capable of absorbing some of its heat and turn the molten rock viscous or even cause some of it to solidify, while at the same time sagging due to loss of water and creating a bowl for the slag to accumulate (remember the video with the red hot ball and the watermelon you posted? The ball barely penetrated that thing due to its water.). Besides, the brain should have drilled itself some drainage holes through the rock. Or have a giant chasm under it if it paid attention to its supervillain lair architecture class.

((This plan is too crazy to fail! Well, not as crazy as tase the brain with the only rainbow cannon mode I know very little about, but still.
Now all I have to hope is that I don't get unlucky and drill directly over the brain...))

Direct the driver to keep us moving towards the nerve cluster. Give him a poke if he doesn't start moving on his own.
