"Sir, do you think the carpet bombing is a good idea? It would keep the planet from paying attention to a flying shuttle if we nuked it again."

Do my best to keep the ship safe.

"Yeah, I do think it'd help, but I'm trying to see if we can't make it so that shuttle can nuke the area the AA is coming from. Two birds with one nuke and all that."

Pray and kiss my ass goodbye. Also, read EKG as needed.

"Hey Kyle, mind taking a look at my manip's brainpoints? I'll send you the EEG readouts."

"I, uh, don't really know my pantheon, but from what I've heard Lars saying, you can never go wrong with Packman. No, 'Pathmas'. Yes, that's the one."

((Don't forget to put it in your action, by the way, I'll also update mine.))

Shoot the incoming projectiles, if possible.

"Let's keep this up, they have to give up sometime. Wonder why they're trying to prevent our escape, you'd think they'd rather see us go than stay. Or maybe they know us taking this brain could be bad for them. They probably do.

Steve, if you could have those shuttles bomb wherever that AA is coming from, that'd be absolutely fantastic. They're coming from the south. But, y'know, make sure it won't hit us."

Check brainpoints, also send result to Kyle. Keep destroying those incoming rounds, with laser if that's possible/has any chance of working, if not with manip.

Also, talking to Steve and such.

>On it. Give them a bit to get into position.

Think about Steve.  Could he have an ulterior motive?  What could that be?
Your mind is an impenetrable haze.

Contemplate the meaning of life. Unless there turns out to be something useful for me to do.
Hmm, by your estimation, there is no hard and fast meaning of life.

Get ready to take the candy Friable Wish, and do so if we're all about to die, or it really seems that way.

You keep one of the pills/candies ready.

Smoke a blue one. If it looks like the projectiles will hit, begin Lurking.
You smoke a cigarette, calmly assured that you'll survive; at least the first time.

Pray and kiss my ass goodbye. Also, read EKG as needed.
"Ehhhh it looks ok."

Shoot the incoming projectiles, if possible.
"Welcome to ARM. Long periods of boredom punctuated by bowel clenching terror. If you still have bowels, that is. Though, sometimes it doesn't matter what ya got, yer still clenching them."

Peer through cameras, for incoming fire, either deflecting or detonating it with my amps.

Oh dear there's a lot of rolling here.

The things which were coming in include not only another volley of explosives, which were fairly easily taken down by your combined efforts, but also some things that resemble large ovoids with wings and what appear to be organic jet engines or something similar. These prove more of a problem because they come in flying stupidly erratically, just dip ducking and dodging around like a humming bird having a seizure. They're devilishly hard to hit with amps and basically impossible to hit with manips without attacking a huge area in order to strike them down as they dodge about. Morul and Iveso manage to take them down this time, but Morul is badly drained by having to attack and focus on so many targets. And more are coming.

The nukes will hit at the end of the next turn.

Keep shooting the damn things! With laser at max diffusion, save manip for if they get dangerously close.

"Kyle, you keep tabs on those eeg readings for me, I need to constantly know how they are."

Point mindfuck gun at wall, hold down trigger, wave wildly, and hope to hit the blobs

There are definitely advantages to having a gun which goes straight through anything (even if the range is piss poor)
