Giuseppina hesitantly takes out a hatchet and thwacks it deep into the rib, before holding it at a very strange angle to nibble at the corner of the ribs.

"Well, none can fault you for not being original in your eating habits, Giuseppina. Irios, you eat more too. You'll need your strength for toni-"
"For tomorrow."

And he thinks she would choose the cult over him when she basically announced she plans on relations with him tonight, in a public room where everyone else will be trying to sleep? I'll never understand these two.

Giuseppina paused, shook her head (clearly she heard wrong), and went back to nibbling at the rib she was eating... although in all fairness she WAS starting to make some progress.

Irios choked on the bite of rib meat he'd just taken.

"Wh-What?" was all he managed to choke out as his face took on a slight red color. At least he could claim it was from choking.

[Furtuka]

"Why's everyone have such funny looks on their-" said Miranda, holding another rib to her face.

She looked at everyone in turn before settling on the blush occupying Irio's cheeks.

"..."

  "OH EW. Could you guys at least get a tent or something?!"

Noel pounded on Irios's back with all the puny power his 2 STR noodle arms could muster.

"Come on, cough it up. The last thing we need is a healer dying on us."

[F.O.E.]

Irios coughed up the bit of meat onto the table in front of him and after a few more coughs he was fine. Except for his face, it was still red and he was quickly losing his choking excuse.

"Th-Thanks, Noel."

Instead of trying to correct Miranda he pulled his hood so far over his head it obscured his eyes and went back to eating his food.

She had not meant to say that... She considered protesting she meant tomorrow, but she doubted it'd do any good.

Giuseppina cleared her throat, attempting to get the conversation away from... that.
:"Anyway!"
And then her sentence died in her throat as she realized she didn't have a topic to change to.

Miranda shook her head to try and forget what she just heard.

"So... what do you guys think about those lizard horses?" she said, trying to pick up for Giuseppina

"You don't want one to spit at you. Urck." Aurelian chimed in, frowning as he took another bit of his haunch of roast.

"Beyond that though, basically wingless wyverns, right? Honestly, pretty awesome."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"You're welcome, though it's only fair since you're here to keep the rest of us alive."

The conversation mercifully changed to the topic of the lizard horses.

"They're interesting creatures. I wouldn't go so far as to say they're fascinating, but I would like to study one if we have the time. At least we know what they taste like, I suppose."
