((By "upgrade" my shortsword I meant use it as a kind of base for the blood longsword, "wrapping" the blood around it rather than purely making the longsword. I was pretty vague about it in hindsight. My bad.))
Try the armour again, this time just a breastplate and helmet.
EDIT: ((Wait, it said the blood stopped flowing before the armour was complete. Does that mean I made most/some of the armour and the rest I didn't have enough blood for?))
(( Nope failed completely I should have made it clearer. ))

Using the blood covering the ground from his previous attempts and the little still trickling out of the Rune of Unspeakable Bleeding, Azgul tries to build a smaller set of armour out of the blood. Unfortunately, the previous attempts had tainted the blood, making it impossible for him to form anything out of it.
"I hear tapping. Bad predator approaching."
Ready fists and get my head out of the portal.
Guessing that the tapping noise comes from a dangerous predator, Shug pulls back from the portal and gets ready for a fight.
Draw some fire and electricity traps around the door. Remonte non-automatic.

Working quickly with his knife Davidson starts cutting out the small and intricate designs necessary for a defensive ward. Working quickly, however, has its problems and instead of perfectly forming the activation square he creates a rectangle with wonky sides. Who knows what activating the rune might do?
The tapping sound grows louder suddenly, loud enough so that everyone can hear it, even while through the portal. Everyone tenses readying for a fight, and suddenly a small figure emerges from the portal. It is a dwarf. But not an ordinary dwarf, oh no. Most dwarves will have nothing to do with magic, but this one is dressed in the colours of a mage. He looks at the group and then mutters, just loudly enough for you to hear,
"You are not, what I summoned."
