AAR: Unit goes down to surface via crashing ship, which Sirus could have piloted, but decided to ditch instead. they catch some supplies, trap the rest, and run off. Now, its dusk, they are sitting in a channel, and are close to an enemy ambush that Lucan the weapon specialist spotted a mile off.

Session ended due to Sirus having issues with his machine spirits.

In other news: Sirus wont be showing next week, our first medic couldn't show today, and Cuthulu is getting kicked for non-attendance, despite being online Bay12 when we started, and several PMs. Cuthulu, if you still want to play, throw me a PM and hope it gets to me before a pubbie joins.

We waited 45 min with two players, started playing go fish for random issue gear, and finally stopped after the Sergent won off the chaos gods 20 stun grenades, 24 demo charges, 20 sets of desert survival gear, and a duffel bag of uniforms. I am going to say 12 uniforms, so hopefully everyone will wind up with three uniforms.

 Solong as you warn us in advance Im fine with it. Mostly so its just that I know that you are still interested and so that I dont do anything silly like get a mission that requires one specific persion only to find out that they dont show.

are you still looking for more players and if so, what rank should I make a char at?  What all do you have at the moment for specializations and is there any limit on which only war rule books we use?

Oh and how long do your games tend to run?

 Yes, we are. At the moment, we havent even managed to get in a fight yet, so basic, bog-standard people. At the moment, we have a Sergent, a pair of medics, a operator(Sirus) and one active weapons dude. I am using all the rlebooks I can get my grubby electronic hands on, but have yet to get one for the one with the thing. No surrender? No retreat? Something like that.

 As for length, most of the time it is until someone has to go. We only managed to play a total of three sessions, one of which consisted of everyone playing cards while waiting for people (Sirus). The other two each lasted an hour, either because that was what was felt like was a good idea (it was not) or due to my having to go because of family.

 Ah, if you feel like you can play tonight, we could use another warm body for the fight tonight. Probably a heavy or another weapons dude.

I can try and get a character made, the only problem being that I am on a brand new computer and thus have zero rule book pdf's... I'll try and get the core/that one that I can't remember the name but greatly expands char gen options and then should be good for tonight.  If you want to send me the r20 link via pm I'll start work on trying to get a char made.

I think that those advanced char gen options are either for specialists (Which are not in this campaign due to the nature of it, but may show later on) or cost a hell of alot of points.

The advanced chargenn options for bog-standards are in hammer of the emperor, those for squishymen are in shield of humanity
