Pet the kitty and tell that it's a good kitty.

Then sing to it. I seem to remember Fea responding to singing.

Might as well chalk it up to Pathos.
As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

Kill and eat cat because we know it will Respawn so INFINITE FOOD
-1, not until we're desperate. We don't know that it respawns. It could have teleported or something.

Complete my earlier action.

You attempt to uncover the mysteries of the empty frame. The mysteries remain covered; the frame is a square of wood composed of four boards stuck together. It is unremarkable.

You stroke the cat. It is good to have a cat, you think.
The cat retains its smooth coolness

You open the chest.

Inside the chest is a cat skeleton and a feather quill.

Set up the cat skeleton next to the cat, now he's got a skele-friend

Use the quill to draw a fanciful picture on the wall of a window showing the outside

Wait a minute...
Throw the chicken off of the edge, and go down and the stairs. Repeat this ten times, then check the chest again.

Feeling as though it might be lonely in the chest, and relocate the cat skeleton next to the cat not-a-skeleton.
The cat fails to respond to the companionship.

The room feels improper now that you've moved the empty frame. You replace the empty frame with an ink frame using the feather quill. The ink frame contains an image.
The image is an enjoyable picture of wheat, as seen through a window.

You decide to return to the upper room. Perhaps you will draw enjoyable pictures in that room as well.

Something feels different about the upper room.

We seem to have misplaced one of our empty bookshelves. Draw a new one, ideally 3 dimensional.
