If there's seriously a ring-like item called 'glasses' that boosts HIT by 10-15 or so I'm robbing the rest of the party to pay for that shit and then I'm editing Noel's mug so he's wearing them. (Instant self-defeation: no one in the party feels threatened because they know he could cast spells for seven years straight and never actually hurt any of them)

It's either that or someone needs to tell Noel that not being straight doesn't include not aiming straight.

An extra hit charm is always appreciated, I'd be willing to pitch in for that (and I think glasses would look good on Noel).

Also, don't sell him short, he can wreck Aur hard. 22 MAG damage with 12 AS is nothing to trifle with at our level.

To wreck Aur, Noel would first have to actually hit him, and the odds of that are slimmer than going all in on 30 in Roulette and winning fifty times in a row.

Not particularly. Noel has an accuracy of 92% (assuming weapon with least hit against Aur's highest eva, using the other weapon boosts this to 97% or an autohit if Aur is using his halberd) against Aur with two attacks, while Aur would respond with a single at a 67% (assuming most hit weapon against Noel's least eva) chance.

Aur would not win that fight, not even with the weapon selection biased in his favor. It isn't even a question if they aren't.

Basically, Noel isn't bad. He's strong and accurate, just up against high EVA characters.
