He can still put down two actions, one of them will just fail.

OH! I read the list the other way around. I thought that both you and TDS were protecting 4mask. If that is the case, than 4mask is using two actions, right?

Indeed this is the case.

I'm waiting for TDS to respond before giving Deathsword which one is the real protect, because even I don't know yet.

In the meantime:

Everyone: Assume for a moment that you are a hypothetical element with two allies and no role powers.  Obviously, there are three enemies.  Who do you want as your ally and what is your strategy?

I would pick Peradon because we have about the same experience.

I would probably choose you, just because you are active and have lots of experience.

I'm assuming that you're asking which elements you'd want rather than players, and also that we're not limited by whether combinations are actually possible or not. If my allies know I'm allied with them, Fire and Water seem like good choices assuming they don't just try to kill each other instead. If they don't know we're allies, I don't see it making much difference this early on, since I won't know who to target or not.

Also, since I missed it earlier, I do plan to vote, NQT.

Interesting...

TheDarkStar notquitethere, good day to you two.  I see the accusations have already started.  One of these votes I will tell the mod is the real protect, the other will fail due to first day exhaustion.  How does that make you feel and can you give me a good reason to protect either of you?  I'm going to ignore NQT's claim for the moment.

It makes me feel slightly annoyed. You should protect me because NQT is probably faking his claim.

What makes you think it is fake? Why are you a better protect target?

That's not a hugely reassuring statement, given that you don't know my alignment or NQT's and don't know if any of us are, in fact, allied (although the only way none of us could be allied to any other is if one of us is void)

Votecount

~31 hours remain

Attacks
notquitethere[1]: TheDarkStar
TheDarkStar[1]: notquitethere

Protects
notquitethere[1]: 4maskwolf
TheDarkStar[1]: 4maskwolf

Please note: people with no attacks or protects on them are not counted. Also note that feints appear in the count, which is to say that if player X has placed two protects (as a feint), then they both appear despite only one being true.

Also note: the format is Target[number]: Attacker/Protector

Are the one shot powers declared in the thread or sent to the mod, by the way? I'd assume that it's the latter, but I couldn't see a rule on it.

I'm hoping that there is a lot of backroom discussion going on right now, because there isn't any discussion in the thread.  To the people who aren't voting right now: cast a vote of some kind, be it protect or attack.  Extract more information from people if you need to, but do something.

TheDarkStar

I don't want to kill anybody until I know they are an enemy. I am more inclined to believe that NQT is void than TDS right now.

4mask, I guess I'd want an experienced player like Deathsword at my back.

And you're right that the sooner people vote the sooner we can learn something.

I meant TDS, Deathsword is obviously the mod.
