I find myself interested, so, character, may my former sense of artistic integrity have mercy upon my everything.
General Information
Name: Wesson Smith (Or whatever, names are not really my thing, suggestions welcome.)
Gender: Androgynous(At the G.M.'s discretion, to be revealed at the G.M.'s discretion.)
Age: 34?
Race: Human(I hate doing this, but the backstory was sort of already there before I had a chance to stop it. Besides, humans were never particularly credible, so I get to keep my hipster cred((oxymoron?)), not to mention the beautiful bonus to technique creation.)
Appearance: Unremarkable height, slightly portly, wears obscuring scarred dusty leather robes, cloak, slacks, shoes, and gloves and wide-brimmed hat, all a dull brown. Their lower face is obscured by robes, visible dark hair loosely vanishing down their robes, bushy eyebrows, brown eyes, a small nose and squat forehead.
Biography: One of too many children this useless aristocrat was largely ignored until it was decided to enrol them in martial arts training in the hopes that they might see some value by gaining prestige for their family. Having little success, they were gotten out of the way of by sending them off to the most remote training facilities that could be found, a remote monastery seeking physical and spiritual perfection. While never showing great talent for the physical aspects of the teachings, they found a great affinity for the spiritual as a separate entity and wielding it upon the physical. The idealistic, and methodical teachings of the monks, seeking a very specific image of perfection, and finding little success in doing so, inevitably found itself at odds with an immense curiosity at the potential of advanced spiritual manipulation. Thus the, then still young human, found a mutual need to separate themselves from the monastery and explore the world of the mystical by their own means, travelling the world, observing the mystical practises of many peoples, and meditating upon such observations in many remote locations to derive concise techniques. Funding for their travels from a modest allowance still afforded to them from their wealthy but distant and inattentive family.

Abilities
Dragon’s Gift - Being from the planet where the Dragon Balls are most often used, this race has a multiplier of 1.5 to their side of the power equation when attacking or defending.
Dragon’s Wisdom - Being from the planet where the Dragon Balls are most often used, this race has a frightening ability to have techniques created by them to have a key portion of the creation multiplied by a factor of 2, allowing techniques to be created faster or more powerful with shorter charge times.
Indomitable - During times of crisis, the power of the strikes of humans can skyrocket and have them punch above their weight by, if below 10% health, pouring their own life energy into their attacks, for an addition to the Dragon's Gift multiplier equal to how much health is spent.
Techniques (I am probably way off on theses, I am not clear on the costs of non-damaging effects.) (I am basically certain that my costs are completely terrible)
Name: Spirit Sight
Inventor: Self
Appearance: The wielder covers their face with both hand palms down and fingers together and upwards-pointing then draws their hands apart leaving a faint golden film between them. The film quickly fades but a golden glow continues to issue from and somewhat obscure the eyes for the duration of the effect. The wielder sense from their eyes, but not visibly, the locations, strengths, and motions of spiritual energy.
Type: Mystic
Charge Time: 15
Effects:
Power Sensing: Reveals an observed subject's spiritual presence.
Detection: Reveals spiritual entities that are not normally visible.
Power Analysis: Reveals the details of any witnessed techniques as they are performed, negating any bonuses conferred by being caught unawares by the unique properties of an unusual technique.
Reduces the penalties for including unfamiliar properties in a technique if those properties are witnessed with this power.(I assume here that if you know fifteen different big ball of doom techniques and no pew pew beam techniques that it would be easier to make yet another big ball of doom technique and more difficult to produce a completely alien pew pew beam technique. This tells you how something happened, but doesn't specify how it was made to happen.)
Exertion: 2 per round
Name: Spirit Shell
Inventor: Self
Appearance: The wielder crosses their arms over their chest with their fingers together pointing above their shoulders and adopts a vacant expression. Upon completion, they appear reddish for a single instant and from then on there are no visible effects except for a dark maroon tint when it receives damage.
Type: Ki
Charge Time: 10
Effects:
Permanent: This technique can be maintained indefinitely at no noticeable cost, though additional costs are incurred in its use.
Impermeable: Attacks cannot travel through the shell, damage dealt to the shell reduces the wielder's focus.
Power storage: This technique both draws from its wielder's focus and can contain its own and can lend focus to its wielder. Focus can be stored in the shell using a process similar to training, adding one round's focus income for every hour spend meditating upon it. This storage can be saved for emergencies and so can be maintained through a battle if the wielder never exceeds their usual focus limits.
Exertion: 3 initially, consumes focus equal to the damage that would have been incurred.
Name: Spirit Sphere
Inventor: Self
Appearance: A fist is held upwards in front of the wielder, a white energy then grows within the fist and pushes the fist open, the fist then renews its force and compresses the energy which promptly forms concise borders of a perfect spherical form.
Type: ki
Charge Time: 40
Effects: Damage 6
Solid: Interacts with the world as a physical object. It is largely impervious to harm much as a standard attack would blast through most physical obstructions.
Manipulable: The wielder can move the orb according to their will.
Detonates: The wielder can, at will, cause the orb to explode for its standard damage.
Exertion: 6 per round
Name: Dark Shot
Inventor: Self
Appearance: The wielder holds their palms together in front of their chest, fingers pointing upwards, and slowly pulls their hands apart with an even darkness remaining between them.
The wielder then points their fingers towards a target and rapidly pushes their hands together, compressing the darkness and producing a two-dimensional ribbon of darkness from the centrepoint between their hands that travels in a straight line.
Alternatively, the wielder can push their hands together to compress the darkness without projecting it and instead produce a deeper darkness that then fills the space between the hands as they are drawn apart again.
Type: Mystic
Charge Time: 30
Effects: Damage 4
Renewable: Upon completion of the technique, instead of attacking, the wielder can elect to double the damage at a cost of time units equal to the added damage times five and exertion equal to the added damage times one and a half.
Malleable: The wielder may elect to pause this technique at any time, they may choose to split the damage over multiple targets in quick succession(at least one time unit between shots) and if they retain any damage they may reconstitute the technique to its previous maximum(and no less), at the appropriate cost for the damage gained, and then attack with it again as if it had not previously attacked.
Focus disruption: Damage from this effect reduces focus instead of health.
Exertion: 9
Name: Dark Shadow
Inventor: Self
Appearance: The wielder extends two fingers and draws them across their other hand from the base of the palm to the tip of the fingers, leaving a black film behind them. The wielder then picks up this film and hurls it at an object. The film covers the object causing it to lose all glare, gain a dark tint, and cast a single solid shadow.
Type: Mystic
Charge Time: ??
Effects:
Energy disruption: The subject of this technique has its damage halved but counts quadruple(double what it was prior) for the purposes of negating attacks for a single attack. {I am really not comfortable with halving its damage, but it is probably irrelevant anyway.}
Exertion: ?? 1.5 times the damage of the affected object?
